Blogging Challenge - Antiques that I have in my house

Hello guys, I am once again opportune to be participating in this blogging challenge created by @tripode and as she said, it is all for the fun and not for the upvote, so when I saw this, I didn't hesitate to go into the house and look for antiques in our home.

I knew I was going to find at least two to three of them since my mom believes and knows how to keep things for the future purpose.

So, I decided to take some shots and share with us the few I found at home. I am happy doing this because it is a fun one.

Walk with me as I show you the few pictures taken.

• Water Pot
  Although, this isn't the oldest it is old household furniture as many who had stuff like this either no longer used it or threw it away as there is a new water pot that is now in the market. If you go to any home, you won't find this been used anymore but we still have this in my home and I don't think my mom plans to drop it any time soon.

• Plate Rack
  😄😄 This is one of the things I grew up to see my mom using to store our plate and till now that I am getting old, we still have this in our home. You don't for any reason joke with this because she cherishes so much her old household accessories than the new ones.

• Aluminum Plate

Nowadays, we still have the aluminum plate, but it quite a very different and beautiful one from the one we still have in my house. I remember those days when we mistakenly drop this on the floor how my mom caned us because then it was quite expensive and only a few people had it in their homes which it was mainly used to serve food for both parents and for relations/families who came around but today, this plate is rarely used and the one's they now sell are quite a furniture to behold.

• Tray
  This tray no longer exists as we have a new design and stainless tray. This kinda tray is no longer in stock in the market but funny enough, we still have it in our house. I am quite sure that tray is older than I and my two siblings.

• Aluminum Basin
  This is the last we have in our home, as the others are still used and still in stock. This aluminum basin with this particular design was known by everyone as the best although many people still say that the new model isn't as strong as this old one.

It was used to fetch water and used by mostly those who fried garri, the extract from cassava.

These are the antiques that I have in my house.
