Esta fue la primera canción que un chico me dedico en mi vida, se llamaba Oscar y fue mi primer novio; él cantaba música venezolana y era muy un cantante así como buen novio. fue muy amoroso conmigo el tiempo que estuvimos juntos y muy caballeroso. Recuerdo que una noche que salimos al parque mientras hablábamos de su carrera artística me dedicó esta canción. Desde entonces no la olvido y me la se toda, me encanta cantarla a todo pulmón cada vez que la escucho.

This was the first song that a boy dedicated to me in my life, his name was Oscar and he was my first boyfriend; he sang Venezuelan music and was very much a singer as well as a good boyfriend. He was very loving with me the time we were together and very gentlemanly. I remember that one night we went out to the park while we were talking about his artistic career he dedicated this song to me. Desde que estamos en el vientre de nuestras madres nos dedican canciones y este es el caso de esta canción y mi hijo Israel. Desde que supe que iba a ser madre hacia todo lo que la gente me decía y leía muchas revistas de maternidad; recuerdo que algo que recomendaban mucho era ponerle música en el vientre de la madre, así lo hicimos mi esposo y yo, teníamos mucha música de chatarrita en inglés y todas las noches mientras hacíamos algunos ejercicios le poníamos esa música suave y tranquila, pero la canción me más me gustaba era "Somewhere Over The Rainbow " su cantante casualmente tiene el mismo nombre de mi hijo, se llama Israel y es de la isla de Hawái, lamentablemente falleció siendo muy joven pero dejó un gran legado que inspira a muchos a la conservación del planeta y amar la paz y la tranquilidad.

Since we are in our mothers' wombs they dedicate songs to us and this is the case of this song and my son Israel. Since I knew I was going to be a mother I did everything that people told me and read many maternity magazines; I remember that something that was highly recommended was to put music in the mother's womb, so did my husband and I, we had a lot of junk music in English and every night while doing some exercises we put that soft and quiet music, but the song I liked best was "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" its singer coincidentally has the same name as my son, his name is Israel and is from the island of Hawaii, unfortunately he died very young but left a great legacy that inspires many to the conservation of the planet and love peace and tranquility.

Recuerdo que cuando mi hijo cumplió sus 15 años le realicé un video lleno de fotografías y el fondo musical era esta canción. Desde ese día hay una conexión entre la melodía, mi hijo y yo, a él le encanta y siempre la escucha, por eso digo que es nuestra canción.

Por lo menos así fue y ha sido para mí, creo que la he visto como 100 veces y no deja de apasionarme y de sacarme sonrisas cada vez que la veo. Una de las partes que más me gusta es cuando suena esta canción en la película ya que es cuando el protagonista Patrick Swayze (QEPD)le enseña a bailar a "Baby" Houseman (Jennifer Grey).

Lamentablemente el protagonista de esta película falleció por culpa del cáncer hace unos años y eso es algo que me entristece, pero creo que nadie lo podrá olvidar porque hizo un buen trabajo y me gustaba su porte, elegancia, su cabello, su cuerpo, todo me gustaba de él.

Unfortunately the main character of this movie died from cancer a few years ago and that is something that saddens me, but I think that nobody will be able to forget it because he did a good job and I liked his poise, elegance, his hair, his body, I liked everything about him.

Por ultimo pero no por eso menos importante les presento otra canción que dedicó un chico muy lindo que conocí en Caracas, se llama Pablo, él y yo trabajábamos juntos y era uno de los mejores compañeros que pude tener; me gustaba mucho su compañía, creo que era una persona que sabía muchísimo y siempre aprendía todo lo que podía. Pablo hablaba el idioma ingles y siempre me cantaba esta canción, como yo no sabía nada de lo que me decía en ella, me parecía mentira que pudiera existir una melodía tan linda y que llevara mi nombre.

Last but not least I present you another song that was dedicated by a very nice guy I met in Caracas, his name is Pablo, he and I worked together and he was one of the best partners I could have; I liked his company very much, I think he was a person who knew a lot and always learned everything he could. Pablo spoke English and always sang this song to me.

Pues un día sorprendentemente viendo una película en la comodidad de mi casa comenzó a sonar esa canción, y en la escena de la película todo el mundo la entonaba, no saben la sorpresa tan linda que m me llevé cuando vi aquello y no podía esperar ver a Pablo para contarle que la había escuchado. En ese tiempo no existía teléfonos inteligente ni nada de internet, pero apenas pude descargué la canción y desde entonces esta en mi repertorio musical. Hoy en día Pablo y yo seguimos conservando la buena amistad que tuvimos desde entonces y siempre recordamos buenos los momentos.
