Trip Portugal - Crystal Palace Garden #2 - Porto

The gardens of the Crystal Palace have a special point of view over the city of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
Here you will have the possibility to visit museums, labyrinth gardens and even a bookshop. It is a very large garden right in the center of Porto.

Here at this point we have a magnificent view over the city and the Douro River, on the river you can see small boats cruising the river to show the city to tourists who want to have a perspective of the city from the river.

I took this photo from a small tower in the garden. This place is very beautiful for tourists to take a picture with the family or their girlfriend or boyfriend. This tower is at the end of the garden, the part that is closest to the river.

As you can see in the photo above, in this garden there is no shortage of trees and enough paths to have several perspectives of the garden, the city and the river.

In this photo we can see in the background a small amusement park for children, while the family relaxes the kids having fun in the park.

As the garden is quite large, you will find directions to the landmarks in the garden. But if you have a map of the garden even better. Ask the tourist offices for maps that they provide free of charge.

To conclude this article, I advise you to visit this place in spring or summer so you can relax and enjoy all that is good in this magnificent space in the center of Porto.
