Introduction

Hi everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's #TravelDigest. But before that, I would like to congratulate everyone who joined the recently concluded Pinmapple Thousand Contests. Congratulations to all the winners! I was amazed by the sheer number of participants and the quality of the entries.

I joined the contest before I became a pinmapple curator so I was not part of the judges, but I know the judges were having a hard time in choosing the winners. I would like to personally express my gratitude to the judges for making the tough call in choosing the winners and to the sponsors who helped in the success of one of the biggest contests I've witnessed here in Hive. Kudos to everyone who have been part of the most awesome travel community!

Alright! As we move on to greater heights, I hope to see the same level of participation in our future contests. For now, let's enjoy the featured posts from all around the world.

🥇 El Paisaje Lunar – The Lunar Landscape by @for91days

One of the more well-known hikes on Tenerife leads from the village of Vilaflor to the so-called “Paisaje Lunar”, or “Lunar Landscape”. Sounds amazing, but this turned out to be the least compelling hike we had during our time on the island.

🥈 Nasu Rindouko Family Ranch, Tochigi Japan 🐎 那須高原りんどう湖ファミリー牧場 🐑 by @dmilliz

Imagine a Disneyland with a farm twist? Well that is the easiest way to explain Nasu Ridiuko Family Ranch. It is the perfect mixture of farm life with a balance of amusement park type attractions. It’a also the perfect spot for people with kids or for those who are dating. ( Mhhmm, one does lead to the other 😄). Friends can have a great time too of course as there is a a decent amount of things to do.

🥉 Wednesday Walk : Da daesque in the northern quarter. Manchester by @grindle

I’ve seen the Piccadilly Rats busking many times, a group of mates all of whom had succumbed to substance abuse, but they were great to watch ( think Bez at his peak but twice as stoned) perform, always attracted loads of folk with their phones out.
