Nafakhum Waterfall, Bandarban, Bangladesh!
The morning is beautiful we have started to travel to Nafakhum. We have to say thank you to the beautiful people of Thuisa Para for their hospitality.
With a slow mood, after crossing the BGB Camp situated on a huge hill we have started towards Jina Para. The camp is on a huge hill and we were looking at the camp last night from Thuisa Para, it was huge from the para.
Within half an hour of walking, we have discovered ourselves besides Shangu river, wherever we are going more than 270 kilometers long Shangu just be with us.
On the way, we found several huge sizes of dead trees might be float along with rainwater. The interesting part of this walking was the distance of the route whenever we were asking how long it would take to reach the destination he only replied half an hour!
Meanwhile, we have crossed Jina Para, as the river water is not much due to lack of rain, we prefer to walk along the river so we did not have to go through Jina Para.
Around two hours of walking, we were exhausted as the sun already on our heads. So we have decided to hold for a white under a tree beside the water. This unknown place was really beautiful and we had little time to drink and enjoy our dry food.
I cannot describe the beauty of the way we have been through! Just amazing, adventurous, and enjoyable. All the member were so shocked about the evening we could not able to see the Amiyakhum and as we heard Nafakhum is nothing to Amiyakhum so our expectation was not high as well.
Finally, we could hear the sound of falling water from a distance, and as we were coming from the same direction water coming so we had no idea how it would look like from the opposite side as the river suddenly fall down 25/30 feet creating the river into a very beautiful Waterfall.
After watching the beautiful waterfall we just forget all the sorrow and after jumping into the water we have energized like we just started our journey. We enjoyed swimming for about a couple of hours before started walking to Rimakri our next destination.
Have you been here? If not I welcome you to the Beautiful Bandarban of Bangladesh. Hills, Waterfalls, Clouds, Trees and of course beautiful local people would welcome you with all the natural phenomenon.
