There was no sadness - just the summer was leaving







The day of August 27, if anyone is really interested, turned out to be just wonderful. I decided to distract myself from the endless sitting at the computer. So, I decided to be today a driver and a guide in one face. Two wonderful madamas from the Moscow region decided to spend this day with me in our Volga pearl.









We got up early morning and made a relaxed drive to our destination. On the way, as usual, I strewed the airwaves with the dates of events, the names of princes and kings, ridiculous and heroic facts of life. The madamas kindly absorbed information they did not need)))) In general, they are both from a group of cheerful optimists. I love guests like these!









An artist on the streets of the Volga town is a common sight. But this time their number exceeded reasonable limits. What kind of autumn migration? What is this creative sharpening? And then on one of the cars I saw an advertising poster "Festival of the plein air". It turns out that artists from all over the country have come to the city! Great, this will drive up hotel prices even more.











We started our tour from the Temple Mount. What to say? Plyos has become even more well-groomed, more attractive, and more respectable. Service prices are growing as steadily as the above indicators. The tourism industry is reaping a good harvest this year - that's what life-giving quarantine does! All the moneybags inevitably dispersed to the inner resorts. Hotel owners immediately reacted to this fact by raising the price tag. For example, a room in the Sova Hotel in Plyos costs about 120 euros. This is not Switzerland or Hong Kong, of course, but this is really a lot for our region

After walking in the fresh air, appetite increases greatly. We walked slowly through the institutions. A simple calculation set me up for sad thoughts: the average check for lunch in cafes and restaurants was about 20 euros per person. Moreover, the quality of service in a restaurant is much higher than in a self-service cafe. And then I remembered about the "Kosoryloff" canteen of homemade food. By mutual agreement, we directed our footsteps there. I would like to note the normal quality of the products. The menu of dishes cost us about 5 euros

After lunch we unexpectedly met a percon called Mikhalych. The personality is, of course, outstanding. Every city has its own madman. Mikhalych from the category of these. He calls himself nothing less than a moron. Mikhalych writes poetry ... right on the fences, so far only on his own. He recently published a book with a circulation of one thousand copies. The edition costs no less than 10 euros! Mikhalych is the party leader. Everyone who buys a book from Mikhalych immediately becomes a member of the party and from that moment can use the opportunity to live in guest bungalows on the site of the author of the book for free. One of my companions bought a collection of obscene poems by a local poet.









We finished the day with a walk on the TM-20 motor ship. And again, not a stressful drive home, dinner and sleep. And on this I have everything for today
