Today I share a spectacular place from the pearl of the Caribbean, Margarita Island Nueva Esparta Venezuela, such as Fortin de la Galera located in the vicinity of Juan Griego. Juan Griego is one of the largest and most important cities on Margarita Island, since it is a commercial area of ​​great beauty. There is a beautiful bay that can be observed from here, with its calm waters and without waves and when the afternoon arrives you can see the most beautiful sunsets, adorned by pelicans that pose in the fishermen's boats.
This is the fantastic structure called "El Fuerte de la Galera", also known as El Fuerte de La Libertad. It was built in 1811, by order of the Patriotic Board of Margarita. It is a place full of history that is worth visiting, famous for the different views that can be enjoyed, especially the sunset on the site, as well as the city and its surroundings. Love it and love the history of it too!
Mind you, Venezuela was already towards the top of my travel list...lol...
