Boga Lake

Boga lake is well known in Bangladesh for the myhths surrounding the place, one of them says the lake was created by a deity that was killed and reïncarnated as a dragon! The Bawm tribe made a small village around the lake. It was the furthest point I was allowed to go by the military, who has checkpoints all over the area. It was a wonderful time to be there though. Sitting next to the campfire and spending the night on a small blanket on the floor of a bamboo hut right next to the lake was incredible. There is no light pollution here, so the night sky left me staring up for a long time. To top it all off, we went around the area some the next day and the nature and viewpoints you stumble upon are pretty much guaranteed to take your breath away.

My rating: 9/10
