In this opportunity I am going to leave you some pictures I took about 4 years ago, after a morning walk I took with a great friend.
These beautiful photos are from the highest part of the municipality Urbaneja, in the city of Lecheria, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela.
El Morro hill is characterized by one of the best panoramic views of the state of Anzoátegui. With its 15 km of extension it is an ideal destination for walking, jogging or cycling in front of the imposing blue landscape of the waters of Lecheria and Puerto la Cruz. The hill is adorned with a modern monument to the Virgin of the Valley inaugurated in 2012. The sculpture of Claes Mata, from Anzoátegui, stands out for being the largest Virgin of the Valley in Venezuela with more than 10 meters high.
From the top of El Morro Hill you can enjoy a privileged view of Pozuelos Bay, El Morro Tourist Complex and the coast of Sotillo municipality. At the end of the main avenue of Lechería is the fork: On the right you reach the top of the hill, where tourists usually come to sit and contemplate both sides of the hill's coast. On the left is the road that leads to the Fort of La Magdalena, a colonial structure that has been renovated several times and can be visited during the day, until sunset. On Cerro El Morro the view of the bay of Pozuelos from Puerto la Cruz to the base of the hill is the dominant theme.
The Cerro El Morro, is a must for those who visit Lecheria, it is not the highest place in Venezuela, but it is one where you can feel the owner of the world and immerse yourself in its immense serenity.
In short, it is a place you must visit.

En esta oportunidad les voy a dejar unas fotos que tome hace aproximadamente 4 años, luego de una caminata matutina que realice junto a una gran amiga.
Estas bellas fotos son desde la parte más alta del municipio Urbaneja, en la ciudad de Lecheria, estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela.
El cerro El Morro se caracteriza por ofrecer una de las mejores vistas panorámica del estado Anzoátegui. Con sus 15 km de extensión es un destino ideal para caminar, trotar o hacer ciclismo ante el imponente paisaje azul de las aguas de Lechería y Puerto la Cruz. El cerro es adornado con un moderno monumento a la Virgen del Valle inaugurado en 2012. La escultura del anzoatiguense Claes Mata destaca por ser la Virgen del Valle más grande de Venezuela con más de 10 metros de altura.
Desde lo alto del Cerro El Morro se puede disfrutar de una vista privilegiada de la Bahía de Pozuelos, del Complejo Turístico El Morro y de la costa del municipio Sotillo. Al final de la avenida principal de Lechería está la bifurcación: A la derecha se llega a la cima del cerro, donde los turistas suelen llegar para sentarse a contemplar ambos lados de la costa del cerro. A la izquierda está la vía que conduce al Fortín de la Magdalena, estructura colonial, reformada en varias oportunidades y que puede ser visitada durante el día, hasta el atardecer. En el Cerro El Morro la visual de la bahía de Pozuelos desde Puerto la Cruz hasta la base del cerro es el tema dominante.
El cerro El Morro, es una visita obligatoria para los que van de visita a Lecheria, no es el sitio más alto de Venezuela, pero si uno en los que te puedes sentir el dueño del mundo y te sumerges en su inmensa serenidad.
En definitiva es un sitio que debes visitar.
