Hunting for the sun / A la caza del sol
One of my friends is called Bethania, she calls herself “Sunset Hunter”, she went to Peru in search of love and in search of herself, one of my most beautiful memories is one day when we went to take pictures of sunsets to the stadium of the sports center, we talked about many things, she asked me if things would change when she left and I said yes, that distance is a barrier for people like me who use their hugs to talk.
Una de mis amigas se llama Bethania, se autodenomina “Cazadora de atardeceres”, ella se fue a Perú en busca de un amor y en búsqueda de sí misma, uno de mis recuerdos más bonitos es un día que en fuimos a tomar fotos de atardeceres al estadio del polideportivo, hablamos de muchas cosas, me preguntó si las cosas cambiarían cuando ella se fuera y le dije que sí, que la distancia es un barrera para personas como yo que usan sus abrazos para hablar.

In February, Betha, as we have always told her, published a statement, in which she requested a photo from the dunes (I live in Coro, there are some very beautiful dunes here) during sunset. I walked four kilometers from my house to the dunes, I live next to the cathedral of the city, to the dunes that remain in the northern area known as "Lara Service", more than a photo I made an improvised video about that sunset and that is what I share with you today.
En febrero, Betha, como le hemos dicho siempre, publicó un estado, en el que solicitaba una foto desde los médanos (vivo en Coro, acá hay unos médanos muy bellos) durante el atardecer. Caminé cuatro kilómetros desde mi casa hasta los médanos, yo vivo al lado de la catedral de la ciudad, hasta los médanos que quedan por la zona norte conocido como “Servicio Lara”, más que una foto hice un vídeo improvisado sobre aquel atardecer y eso es lo que hoy les comparto.
The dunes of Coro are a Venezuelan national park, its changing dunes swallow the roads and lead to more than twenty meters high, it has been said that it hides an Indigenous cemetery, its sunsets are an experience of warm happiness. I'll tell you more about it later.
Los médanos de Coro son un parque nacional venezolano, sus dunas cambiantes se tragan las carreteras y llevan a tener más de veinte metros de altura, se ha dicho que esconde un cementerio Indígena, sus atardeceres son una experiencia de cálida felicidad. Después le contaré más de ello.
