Dinajpur Government College is a government university located in Dinajpur city of Rangpur division of Bangladesh. It is an ancient university located in North Bengal, Bangladesh. It was established in 1942. It was built before independence. So it is understood how old this educational institution is. It is a traditional educational institution of Dinajpur.

I have completed graduation in Zoology from Dinajpur Govt College. It is one of the best government colleges in Dinajpur. The college is spread over a huge area. The undergraduate and postgraduate departments include Arts, Science and Commerce departments.

Arts Building and Science Building of Dinajpur Government College were established in 1963. These buildings are one of the oldest buildings of this government university. Some buildings were erected after the independence of the country. The examination hall of the college is huge. It was built a few years ago.

Dinajpur Government College is one of the popular educational institutions in Bangladesh. The atmosphere of the college campus is charming. After entering through the college gate, there is an area surrounded by trees on the right hand side. There are several old trees here. Activities such as organizing any cultural program of the college or giving honor to any special person in the college are done in this place.

There is a huge field in front of the biology department of the college. I like Dinajpur Govt College. Because there are many plants in the campus and the environment is beautiful now. Even if you are not a student of the college but if you visit the college campus you will like its atmosphere.

Dinajpur Government College is making great contribution to the education sector of this country. Every year many talented students pass out from this college and they contribute to the development of the country. It is a developing college. The college buildings are attractive.

But there are still many vacant places in the college. Some more buildings of the college may be constructed in these places. There are residential facilities inside the college. Many students come here from far away to study they can stay in the college hostel. By visiting the college, I got a good idea about the buildings of this college.
