The last time I was in Singapore was in 2019. I was unable to visit Merlion Park on that trip. I had very little time to explore because my trip was so brief. When I get my travel confirmation, I was ecstatic and can't hide the excitement that I feel also I was very excited to finally able to acquire a stamp on my passport and take a flight outside of the Philippines since we had been under lockdown for three years and had been denied the chance to travel.

On my last night in Singapore, we decided to walk down Arab Street to Merlion Park. We stop by and walk around the boat quay, where I had my first dinner when I arrived in Singapore. This place is famous and one of the most visited places to go get something to eat. We noticed that even on weekdays, this place is still packed.

I was able to capture a picture of the area. I also stop by a market on the route to the Merlion that sells a wide range of goods, including bags, shirts, fruits, key chains, ref magnets, and much more. I had to get a bag before my flight the next day because I needed one to store the additional items that I had purchased in Malaysia and in Singapore.

It was a lengthy walk, and to be honest, we had to stop several times to relax our feet. The street appears to be quiet, but I can hear some loud music when we're walking around the area since there are several restaurants and pubs along the route that crank up their music.

We arrived at Merlion Park after our adventurous stroll. I was really delighted because I felt it couldn't possibly be as lovely as the previous time I went. I recall it being a beautiful day, and there were a lot of people standing in line, looking for the perfect position to take a shot.

I was amazed at how beautiful the view was that night; I thought it would be ideal to go there in the morning or during the day, but I prefer it at night to see how lovely it is. I can still see a lot of people having fun taking photos and admiring the scenery. You can also see some know buildings and hotels on the other side of the park. You can also see a glimpse of one of the famous and beautiful Marina Sand Bay, which is an added bonus to this view.

I am fortunate to have a photo in the background that includes not only the Merlion but also the Marina Sand Bay. We stayed there for almost 30 minutes just to enjoy the place and take more photos.

If given another chance, I will return over and over again since I will never grow weary of the breathtaking scenery.
I sincerely hope I was able to capture your attention and persuade you to travel to Singapore soon.

That's all for now hivers, see you on my next adventure. Don't forget to stay safe and if you are planning to travel soon always check the requirements needed and prepare everything in advance.
