Walking South of Jomtien Beach , Pattaya !!
I have been living in Pattaya city a few weeks now and apart from been busy with work and still unpacking, i seem to be settling in well with the environment and work. Today i had the opportunity to work from home so finishing up my work early afternoon and seeing that beautiful blue sky calling me, i just had to take a walk along the beach further south from the side of the beach, i am living just needed to get out and explore more of the city that, i have decided to live in.
Walking my way along the beach, looking at the little ocean waves crashing on the shore line so calmly against the blue sky and the clear crystal waters. Palm trees and vendors spread along the beach front with there sun umbrellas in the open position hoping to get a few customer and all i could think of was this is paradise how lovely to be alive.
I hadn't made any plans on how far i was going to walk but giving that the day was just awesome and with the nice breeze flowing pass my face it didn't matter, i was just pleased to be here away from all them red zone covid areas that are still suffering around the world. I thank God that he bought me here safe zone.
On my walk i met a couple of Squirrels along the way the Thai people are kind enough to leave some food and peanuts in these little boxes that are tied or nailed to these trees and these little cute Squirrels just wonder down from the trees and have a feast without any worries about humans. Also met this little beautiful cute girl standing by her moms motorbike protecting herself from the hot sun with this made up hoodie over her head so sweet and happy with her little box of coated stick chocolates.
I had already walked about 4-5 km along the beach front sometimes getting onto the beach road to call into 7/11 to grab a bottle of water and take a couple of photos. It seems no matter where you are in Thailand there is always a 7/11 in every corner and as with street food vendors a place you will never starve or get dehydrated.
As i was getting a bottle of water in 7/11 my colleague/friend from work was calling me inviting me to his condominium and in actual fact, i was not far from his place so it was perfect timing, i did want to see his Miami Beach view that he kept bragging about so this was the perfect opportunity only been about 1 km from his place was just perfect.
His condominium was the 42nd floor up a huge two bedroom living space a corner building room with a awesome rounded balcony and surprisingly did have the most sensational Miami Beach views and at a minimal cost of Miami Beach apartments. The garden and pool area was just like living in a resort and beach across the road what more would you need.
After having a tour around his place and a couple of beers it was time for my walk back to my place and catch the paradise sunset, you will find many locals and foreigners coming out to sit down along the beach setting up camp for a few hours to watch the sunset and have a few snacks with some beers without been harassed how relaxed is life in Jomtien , Pattaya.
Jomitien , Pattaya is well know around the world for it's beautiful city the friendliness of the Thai people and the Miami Beach look one place, i would feel comfortable living not to mention how affordable it is and with the outstanding sunsets to look at almost every day of the year, yes it is paradise when you think about it.
