Excursion to the Pradidali Hut, Trentino Alto Adige - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone! I've been busy these days but I finally managed to get on my computer for this new post.

Trentino Alto Adige again? Well yes!

This time I was in the Fiera di Primiero area, a very touristic area but at the same time full of magnificent places to relax while contemplating nature.

Ciao a tutti! In questi giorni sono stato impegnato ma finalmente sono riuscito a mettermi al computer per questo nuovo post.

Di nuovo Trentino Alto Adige? Ebbene si!

Questa volta sono stato nella zona di Fiera di Primiero, un'area molto turistica ma allo stesso tempo ricca di posti magnifici dove rilassarsi contemplando la natura.

I parked the car near a restaurant called Cant del Gal, it was full of people and my purpose was to walk and explore so I thought I'd eat a packed sandwich.

Ho parcheggiato l'auto presso vicino a un ristorante che si chiama Cant del Gal, era pieno di gente e il mio scopo era camminare ed eslporare così ho pensato di mangiare un panino al sacco.

I found a stream with a beautiful view of the Pale di San Martino the beautiful mountains that I had photographed even when I was in the Venegia Valley.

Ho trovato un torrente con una bellissima vista sulle Pale di San Martino le bellissime montagne che avevo fotografato anche quando sono stato nella Valle Venegia.

I took out the necessary and made the sandwiches in the most beautiful place I could find...luckily I didn't have lunch in a boring restaurant!

Ho tirato fuori l'occorrente e ho preparato i panini nel posto più bello che potessi trovare...per fortuna non ho pranzato in un noioso ristorante!

In order not to miss anything I had stopped on the street to get the bread and since there were the krapfen, typical sweets of German origin...I took a couple, too good with the cream inside!

Per non farmi mancare niente mi ero fermato per strada per prendere il pane e siccome c'erano i krapfen, tipici dolci di origine tedesca...neho presi un paio, troppo buoni con la crema dentro!

The weather was variable, there were threatening clouds but I was not intimidated and I started the walk.

Il meteo era variabile, c'erano delle nuvole minacciose ma non mi sono intimorito e ho iniziato la camminata.

I chose to follow the indication of a sign just before the bridge with destination Malga Pradidali...I was already thinking that I would also buy some cheese, but things did not go as I hoped...

Ho scelto di seguire l'indicazione di un cartello appena prima del ponte con destinazione la Malga Pradidali...stavo già pensando che avrei anche acquistato del formaggio, ma le cose non sono andate come speravo...

The stream that ran alongside the narrow path was really beautiful, and made the hike evn more interesting.

Il torrente che costeggiava lo stretto sentiero era davvero bello, e ha reso l'escursione ancora più interessante.

Some sections were more internal in the woods but that is an area rich in water and more than a few times I have seen streams of water crossing the path.

Alcuni tratti erano più interni nel bosco ma quella è una zona ricca d'acqua e più di qualche volta ho visto ruscelli d'acqua attraversare il sentiero.

Suddenly the path became very tiring, with a lot of slope and many trees cut on the sides almost to indicate the way.

Ad un tratto il sentiero è diventato molto faticoso, con molta pendenza e molti alberi tagliati ai lati quasi ad indicare la via.

The peaks were getting closer...

Le vette erano sempre più vicine...

There were beautiful flowers and butterflies that I had never seen.

C'erano fiori bellissimi e farfalle che non avevo mai visto.

After crossing the bed of a dry stream, I came to a forest crossed by a stream.

It was very suggestive because it was not a simple stream, a lot of water passed and the sound was really strong.

Superato il letto di un torrente secco , sono giunto ad bosco attraversato da un torrente.

Era molto suggestivo perchè non era un semplice ruscello, passava moltissima acqua e il suono era davvero forte.

A little further up there was a wooden bridge where three streams met.

Poco più sopra c'era un ponte di legno dove si incontravano tre ruscelli.

I didn't know, but that building to the left of the bridge was the Malga Pradidali, or more precisely, the remains of the hut!

I thought that the Malga was still in operation!

Non lo sapevo, ma quell'edificio alla sinistra del ponte era la Malga Pradidali, o più precisamente, i resti della hut!

Io pensavo che la Malga fosse ancora in funzione!

There were no signs, so I was continuing to walk waiting to get to the hut! :D

Non'erano cartelli, quindi io stavo continuando a camminare in attesa di arrivare alla malga! :D

Almost arrived at the foot of the mountain, I met some hikers and they revealed to me that they had not seen huts!
At 2300 meters above sea level there is the Pradidali refuge, but that's another thing!

So I decided to go back to the car following another path, thus making a circular route.

Arrivato quasi alle pendici della montagna ho incotrato degli escursionisti e mi hanno svelato che non avevano visto malghe!
A 2300 metri di altitudine c'è il rifugio Pradidali, ma è un'altra cosa!

Ho così deciso di tornare verso la macchina seguendo un altro percorso facendo così un percorso ad anello.

The path was really beautiful both for the view but also for the vegetation...the rhododendron flowers, the juniper plants and more.

Il sentiero era davvero bello sia per la vista ma anche per la vegetazione...i fiori di rododendro, le piante di ginepro e non solo.

Then I came to these signs and read:
Rud. Pradidali hut

Ruins of the Pradidali hut!

I didn't remember reading "ruins" when I started the walk!

Poi sono arrivato a questi cartelli e ho letto:
Rud. Malga Pradidali

Ruderi della malga Pradidali!

Non ricordavo di avere letto la scritta "ruderi" quando avevo iniziato la camminata!

After crossing a scree, the path became steep, I met many people who were climbing it.

Superato un ghiaione, il percorso è diventato scosces, ho incontrato moltissima gente che lo risaliva.

The landscape was gorgeous, next year I think I'll climb 2300 meters to the Pradidali refuge, it must be fantastic!

Il paesaggio era stupendo, il prossimo anno penso che salirò a 2300 metri fino al rifugio Pradidali, deve essere fantastico!

The last stretch was a simple paved road but very steep.

L'ultimo tratto era una semplice strada asfaltata ma molto in pendenza.

I can say that the path I took to go up is 10 times more beautiful than that of the descent, so I recommend that anyone who wants to take the excursion to the Pradidali refuge, follow the signs for the ruins of the Pradidali hut that are there before the bridge and then continue to the refuge which is located at 2300 meters above sea level so I think it will take a further 2/3 hours of walking.

Posso dire che il sentiero che ho fatto per salire è 10 volte più bello rispetto a quello della discesa pertanto consiglio a chiunque voglia fare l'escursione che porta al rifugio Pradidali, di seguire le indicazioni per i ruderi della Malga Pradidali che ci sono prima del ponte e poi proseguire per il rifugio che è situato a 2300 metri di altitudine quindi penso che ci vorranno ulteriori 2/3 ore di cammino.
