Once upon a time backwoods...

Backwoods

Who ever thought out that word? I guess it is something like "back in tbe woods" or what we would call in Dutch the "bush bush" or "het achterland". It sounds not as great as the countryside.
Backwoods is more where hardly anyone lives or only a few uneducated people. Theyalways say the smartashes live in the city. If that is true how come the succesful people leave the dirty city and golive in the country and by a big house over there?

There is no more I can write about this prompt. It's flat over here and the trees we have are all planted. A country stolen from the sea does not have trees of its own. Trees do not like to grow into the sea. This means we have no firewood either. I guess it is all imported and we give a hand cutting down all trees in transylvania. Dracula and his family will not like that but that is life. Survival of the fittedt and bats are fit but not the fittest around an humans do not like backwoods. Who needs a wood?
The governments cut down trees to build houses and we think we are not the ones making most mess on earth, the ones spoiling this planet. We want soy and an appartment and money for free. Thing you do not find there back in the woods.

The woods do not care.
They burn or are cut down and are burned. There is less difference it all ends up in ashes. Mother Nature is fine with it. If you do not care about her there is no need for her to care anout you and your oxid problem.
What those living in the woods know we ignore because it is the easiest thing to do.
"Don't look at me it is not my fault..."

No I am not ready sharing yet. I forgot to post this one.

It is time to go back to school!

Hurray for me being home alone, boehoehoe for me getting out of bed at 4 am again.

I am not getting up early out of fun but it is the only way of getting my children at at school in time. School start at 7 am or 7:30 am.
We need to drive to the busstop (20 minutes), the bus takes about 75 minutes to get at the main bus station in the city and next it is walking to school for 20 minutes.
Before the children leave we have tea together and they take some fruit, something else to snack and water with them.
Bread and a hot meal have to wait till they are back home.
Immediately if they are home we have our luch/dinner together.

A sore throat and feeling miserable is what the bus-kid complains about.
My daughter complained about a cold in her head and the youngest and I feel fine. We are the thoughest! 😁

No matter what It is the first day after the holidays and my children go to school.
Sick we only are in our own time (read: weekends and holidays).

The bus-kid had to build a car that drives one meter on a few drops of water.
It managed to build it but didn't drive last night. The reason could not be found by it. Good that moms exist. The battery was already drained. Bad luck, no other battery available.

The kid was lucky. The car drove once at school. Good for another great grade.
