This is my post for #freewriters Wednesday prompt Andes hosted by @mariannewest

One of my daughters wants to travel, I am more of a homebody. A few years ago she wanted to go to NYC. I am also a small-town girl, but she talked me into going with her. She drove from Florida to New York and even drove in the city. I had never heard so much horn honking as I heard there. And there were signs everywhere that said 100 dollar fine for honking. As it turned out, I loved the city, it was a shock to me because I would have sworn that I would not like it.

This same daughter took me on a cruise to Grand Caymen Islands and to Mexico. I spend just about every day on a boat and I knew I would not like it but she really wanted me to go with her so I did, and I loved it. I am thinking now that maybe I do not know myself as well as I think I do.
She is now researching where we will go next. The Andes sounds interesting we could
explore the islands of Lake Titicaca, visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas I am sure there are other things to do, I am also sure that I would have a good time because I have found out that it is not really about what I do but who I am doing it with....

Today started out bad and ended bad. While fishing we run live-well pumps to keep our bait alive, so every evening we have to charge our batteries. I took the charger off this morning and noticed it was blinking, I tested the battery and it was still dead. I decided to take the battery out of the lawnmower. It would not start my motor but it will run the pump.

We had to wait till 9 o'clock to weigh yesterday's fish, we had 205 pounds. By now the wind had picked up and storms were moving onshore but we were going anyway.

It only sprinkled rain from this one.

My husband had to run the pigfish traps, he said he got 360 bait. I went out to the channel and anchored. On this anchoring I caught, I am guessing, 120 pounds. I could see the next squall line coming and my phone rings, it is my husband, he says what do you think about that storm, then he says it shouldn't blow that hard out of it. I knew right then that it was going to get too rough to stay anchored. And it did. So we went inside the creek where we could be out of the wind.

My eyesight had gotten bad again, I was having trouble seeing my line and I was getting aggravated plus it went to pouring rain so I was ready to go home.

After pulling our boats out, I have my husband go ahead of me and he does not pull out onto the road until we both can go and I follow him home with anxiety level through the roof. I go to the eye doctor this coming Monday. I hope he can tell me what is going on. I wonder if everything is connected or if I have different things going on.

I sure hope you get some helpful answers regarding your eyesight! Those clouds sure do look impressive. I really liked this line that you wrote:

I am also sure that I would have a good time because I have found out that it is not really about what I do but who I am doing it with....

Those are wise words.
