This is my post for #freewriters Sunday prompt high mountain hosted by @mariannewest

A couple of years ago her son moved a girl into her house, for just two weeks, the weeks turned into months and months. She had to pay 400 dollars to have them evicted and the girl ended up stealing all of her jewelry plus other things.

After being forced out he went to live with his Dad with the girl. The girl ended up leaving him and the Dad would not put up with his shit and kicked him out of the house. He lived in his car in his Dad's front yard until code enforcement made him move.

He went back to his Mom's house thinking she would let him move back in. She was not going to go through all the crap that went on before so she bought him a tent and said he could live in the yard in the tent.

He thinks he lives on top of a high mountain where he can do whatever he wants. He took her little shed apart and used the pieces to build a room on the side of the tent, he has nailed things to her house, took her front porch door, and built a screened-in room in front of the tent. He has broken a window to get in the house while she was at work. Another time he took a baseball bat and busted the fancy front door lock off because he wanted inside. He has taken all of her tools. I could go on and on but will go over 5 minutes.

Now two other people have placed tents there, they have a little homeless community going on.

If all of that was not bad enough, the mortgage company did an appraisal on her home and reported the homeless camp to her insurance company. They are going to cancel her insurance if it is not all taken down. She told him he could move the tent to the backyard and stay there.

He refuses to take it down unless she agrees to let him move into the house. He is 29 years old. Does not want to get a job. And blames everyone but himself for the way his life is.
I do not know what she is going to do, he says if she does not let him move in or keep his camp he will make sure she loses her insurance by telling them she has two dogs, even though one is his.

I can not imagine how it is to have a child like that. I wonder why the police can not remove him and his fellows. If that's not the case I think I would leave. I would find myself a new place and home to live and left everything behind. Perhaps she should buy a gun to defend herself and shoot him if he tries to break in.

It is her son, she has told me she wishes she could move and let him have the house, but she is making payments on it and can not afford to rent and make payments. She does not want him to go to jail, she just wants him to get a job and find somewhere else to live.
