Single Prompt Option - The Weekend Freewrite - 9/10/2022

Copy of Weekend Freewrite.png

The Weekend Freewrite is a bit different from the Daily Single Prompt. It gives you a chance to catch up.

If you wrote every day, good on you! Now try a different take on a prompt or try to bring all of them into one freewrite. Play and have fun!

Or you can use one of the Three Prompts from the other weekend freewrite and use that as your prompt.

If all fails, go back to the latest pre-1000 day Weekend prompt and find something to your liking.
Here is the last of the way too many prompts post.

Prompts

hit list
temperature
short acquaintance
a gift of the selfish variety
ripples
explosion of rage

You know what to do.

  1. Pick a prompt
  2. Set a timer to 5 minutes or use the Most Dangerous Writing App
  3. Write without stopping.
  4. Fix what you feel like fixing
  5. Publish your freewrite
  6. Leave a link in the comments of this post.

There is only one important rule!

Where do you live? We have not yet had this power problem, but my husband prepared us in case we do have one by repairing our generator.

right now, we are in San Diego for a couple of weeks. Then, it will be Ganado on the Navajo Reservation. Since we live on the Hospital compound, we actually should be okay for the most part.
Power goes out on a regular basis when there are storms and strong winds, then the generators come in. Internet is okay but not great.
But while traveling, I had all kinds of problems going online. partly because the free WiFi in Hotels are unsecured networks and my phone didn't want to connect. Partly because there wasn't WiFi and we had used up a lot of our fast data and things just didn't load...

That sounds super challenging. Sending prayers and hoping you get settled soon! Take care, my friend.
