I know that we all miss our Uncle Bruni and are very sad about his passing.
Here is the information about his funeral again.
I am also asking if we can donate to a charity in @wonderwop's honor instead of sending flowers.

  • A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Just remember that is is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link

  • Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.

  • A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

It's just unreal and seems so unfair to think of Uncle Bruni, gone ... seeing the funeral details makes it so real.

Here on Hive there is an initiative going on with a father fighting for his life with Covid-19, in Venezuela where the cost of the things he needs to survive is very high, and he also was the breadwinner of the family and so the whole family is in danger. It's not a charity, per se, but it's something we can do to save another family from going through what Uncle Bruni's family is going through. I'll drop the link here.

There just seems to be no end to it ... every reason why we had to hold (er, hodl) the line here on Hive for them when people were all talking about removing payouts because that was holding back the price ... it's BEEN life or death in Venezuela, just now more so...

It has popped up a bunch of times over the past two years, most recently about six months ago ... of course, it may be that you and I tag-teamed that whole "release the blacklist of people who NEED to earn on both Steem and Hive" thing at around that same time.

To think - if not for Covid, how many more millions of Venezualans would have fled.
And this:

So, next time you see or read reports from the maduro regime about how successfully they’ve handled covid-19 or how the guerilla allies from Colombia (FARC-ELN) have nothing to do with violence in our border, how china and russia have nothing to do with the destruction of our Indian land to get our gold and other precious minerals, or how cuba is going to save us with their vaccine, think twice.

Sad, tragic, disturbing - I was about to say "Quick bring on the crazy cat videos," and you closed with a cat. Brilliant!
