It is with great sadness that I have to tell you all that our great friend @wonderwop passed away yesterday.

All of you who have had the pleasure of interacting with him know that he is one of the most caring and kind people you will ever meet.

Remember the times of the Selfie contest? He always reminded everyone to get their posts and links in on time to stay in the contest.

Throughout the years, I could count on a text from him if something was amiss with the prompt.

Bruni has been freewriting with us from the early days and only slowed down when his battle with cancer took most of his energy.

@wonderwop, Bruni, we will miss you a lot!

Please take today's freewrite time and write about friendship.

Writing help

  • A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Just remember that is is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link

  • Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.

  • A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

Oh @wonderwop, I actually went searching last week for your latest post and this news was my was hearts worst fear. I will miss you and your wonderful attitude, warmth and love for others. You were the best cheerleader steem/Hive #freewriters had. I ❤ you and I'll be praying for your whole family. 😇 🙏

Only the good die young. Smiling, cheerful, warm, encouraging, all that is good in the world was manifest in Bruni. I love his posts about his parents. Of all the accomplishments one might list, it is said that bringing a child into the world, nurturing and loving them, and sending a good person into society is the greatest of all. His parents did that. #GoodPeople. We love you Bruni!

I wondered where our Uncle Bruni had been ... in Heaven I suppose ... good for him, but SAD for us ... 😭😭😭😭 ... I can't even imagine what his family is going through ... my prayers and condolences to everyone who loves him...

It seizes me a deep sadness knowing that one of our virtual friends, Bruni has passed away, the popular @wonderwop, was a person who may study primary school with each one of us, as I commented in my story today. For the relatives and close friends of him, I send my most senses condolences. The Lord had a place reserved in the sky next to Angeles. Lord's light shine for Bruni. Amen.

So sorry to know that our friend @wonderwoop has passed away, I remember him especially because he was the one who motivated me to become a freewriter. My condolences to everyone.
