Oh, I hope writing about forests will bring me some comfort.

Tramping about in them. Oh gosh, I’m conflicted. I wish it didn’t feel like we had to choose between being urban or rural people (I have not problem choosing not to be suburban. Not that I’m judging the suburbs, it’s just never been appealing to me)

But it feels like: either @loch will grow up tramping through forests or living with neighbors, and he can’t have both. And that sucks.

I know, having grown up on a farm how much about it I loved, and how much I longed for living in a city. Who knows what I would have been like otherwise.
