Working hard / Freewrite's Prompt by @MarianneEWest

Oh yes!

I am working really hard to lose weight, eating healthy as well as cutting down coffee from two cups to one cup a day, and if possible to no coffee or one cup once or twice a week. During the previous months of staying at home had me drinking alot of coffee to stay awake to juggle so many tasks at home; houseworks and that time having to manage the son's online classes. Staying at home also meant you baked more, means more sugar intake those few months.

Really working hard

To get back up and stay motivated to exercise everyday, lose those accumulated sweat crying to come out (lol), remind myself to drink more water as I remind my children to drink more water, so on and so forth. I realised my attention get distracted if I focus on too many tasks at the same time. Therefore, I make sure to jot down what to do on that day in order to off-load it to the paper instead of me feeling overwhelmed inside like "so many things to do" feeling. In the end, I would just get stalled, sitting there do nothing. Not good.

I even have an app for 30 days exercise to keep me motivated to stay healthy, as well as planning my own schedule between housechores and homeschooling. Phew! What a world we live in, being bombarded by responsibility and commitment.

But I guess that's what keep us alive. When we have purpose. When we work hard, setting our eyes on the upcoming goals and rewards. Work harder but also laugh more. Sweat more and drink more. Eat more healthy food and less junk food. It is not easy at times to stay on the new habits when the old habits are still being alive around, but we also know no pain, no gain.

While working hard at home, I also think of other people who are also working hard for themselves and their family during this tough times. So, always remember, while we work hard, we also remember to be kind to other people.

Okay, I continue my leg pushups. Lol...

Because I am usually more free at night before bed time, so I always do simple exercise before bedtime, in my pyjamas.😜
