People say sharing is caring.

The other day, I read an article on parenting that we do not force or demand our toddlers to share, because they have yet to have the ability to make a choice. If we keep on forcing or demanding them, it sort of 'teach' them they do not have the right to own. But ownership is essential in character building. Children need to feel safe without being judged, or they don't even know what is being judged. Like if they don't share means they don't love their siblings? Big no! They just want to see happy faces on their parents. So if toddlers, young boys and young girls don't feel like sharing, it is totally normal and fine.

I think so too.

Like, I don't force you to share your Hive payout with me, because that's yours. And you have the right. You own it, it's your hardwork. Let say adults don't share our gadgets with another person, that's fine. It is not that we are not caring.

I am not talking about we don't share anymore. If we see a person in need, hungry for few days and he or she doesn't have food, we share. Or you share your food with dogs and cats who don't have owner and in hunger. Or we give. That is kindness from the heart. You don't do it because you scared of people judging you that you don't care. You share because you care. That's the point.

On the side note, I really love the see the boys hanging around their father as he attends his work. He is busy but he chose to share his attention between the boys and the work, took time to explain what he was doing at his laptop, sharing knowledge, teaching some basic keyboard skills. And that kind of sharing is beautiful.
