Forest🌳🏵️ / Weekend Single Prompt

It is a shame that we have alot of forest in Malaysia but I had only been to one, namely Hutan Lipur Kancing. In fact, I had gone to this one three times in my life because of the waterfall there. Kancing is famous for its waterfall where families can be seen playing water there as well as mini picnic. It may not look like forest forest with dense trees as many areas had been made into trails to ease people walking up to the waterfall areas. However, the name still shows it is a forest.

Recently, we have been reading Usborne book on 'Jungle'. We once asked our teacher the differences of jungle and forest. I could only remember one sentence my teacher said, that every jungle is forest but not all forest are jungles.

We really love this book as it shows different jungles all across the world and what trees and animals in them. India jungle, Africa jungle, Bornea jungle and etc. Since I am from Borneo, let me show that particular page.

When my son knew I was going to post this, he opened up the page as it is a flipflap book to show the whole thing.

I won't be elaborating the whole page as this is freewrite not teaching session, haha. So, I would show few things, specifically orang utan who loves durian like most Malaysians do and the biggest flower Rafflesia.

I hope one day, I will be able to visit all the forest in my country, Malaysia.
