Filing / Freewrite's Prompt by @MarianneEWest

If I have all the time in the world, and all the money in the universe, I would really enjoy indulging in a great classy modern filing cabinets. In fact, I love to do filing. There is the immense satisfaction when all documents are arranged tidily into appropriate files and being labelled nicely according to colours. Oh, how I love doing labels. From designing the labels, choosing fonts, stuff like that. I find it therapeutic when I watch those videos of Cricut doing stuffs. Recently, I am dreaming of Cricut Joy. Oh well, just dreaming ya. I won't involved in any labelling job at the moment.

Back to filing!

Back when I was a college student and a worker at church office, I found myself sometimes slow in work not because I couldn't do, but I was distracted by being busy doing all the filing rather than preparing my projects. I love arranging papers, subjects, documents, according to colours. So, you can guess, if I have the money, I would invest in very good quality and nice files.

Now, I am imagining a total minimalist house, I do not need TV rack, don't need TV, no coffee table, but I do not a sturdy white table, with sturdy white wall cabinet, and with all the files arranged according to rainbow colours. Haha. What a contrast. I love a tidy workspace. White furnitures, but alot of colourful papers for my art and crafts. It gives me creativity and inspiration and motivation to work.

However, this is only happening in my imagination. My real house is far from it. With children around, nothing can be ideal. I have learned to accept mess. I have learned to close my eyes and be oblivious to all those stacked up books, papers, bills on our worktable. But, I still try my best to keep the house tidy to my new standard or else the mess may affect my mood. Still need filing for the bills and importantly documents.

A tidy house does gives me pleasure. 🏡😊
