I used to live in harmony with ants. That was in the past, when I was young, I thoughts ants were cute and they were really admirable hardworking 'armies'. I would spend quite some time watching them shifting trails of food, systematically in one line. I was amazed at how they communicated. I would even purposely broke their line and see how each communicated with another. How awesome were those tiny fellas.

Not until I am a parent!

Homemaking is already tedious enough and ants intrude my food and water called for battle. I think ants mutated or I got my info wrong last time. They are not suppose to be able to swim. But recently, the ants at my house can swim in my pot of water. And they can even sneaked into a tight container to my cereals. When we were in hurry and we just wanted to quickly gobbled our cereal but to realise the whole box of cereal was ants. And ants.

So, I bought this!

During the recent 9.9 sales, I bought this online, recommended by friends, said it is more environmental friendly, something like a chalk, you just gotto draw around the cabinet or table where the insects, either cockroaches or ants usually are, and when they come across the chalky powder, it will slowly poison them to death. Apparently, when the ants bring back the powder to the colony, the whole clan dies too.

After using it for two weeks, the ants still prevail. Sigh... Means, it wasn't as effective as it is. Or maybe I didn't chalk enough. I used to have a gel-like ant poison which was super effective but I just didn't have the time to go hunt for it yet.

Well, continue to 'chalk' more...

It is proven, ants are tiny but strong. You killed one colony, soon you will see another one appears at another part of your house. You either just continue the battle or live in peace with them. 😎
