Some people just stop at five minutes and some people carry on. I can only manage around 160-200 words in five minutes, some people manage much more. You could continue the story and indicate where the five minutes ran out if you like! If you want to continue the story do it! :)

Ahh very true. I can just do a couple breaks between and then keep going. I've been so locked on the "5 Minute" part that I wasn't thinking of a way to keep myself going. I'm always self editing as I am typing and to know I am not set on 5 minutes means I can let the idea develop slower.
