The glories of his past.

Jonas, a hard-working man, fought every day for his livelihood and that of his family, motivated by the economic crisis in his country despite having been the best seller of clothes, now retired receives from his pension barely enough for him to to support his family, having to dedicate himself to sporadic jobs such as that of a personnel transport driver. One of the aspects of his life that he had neglected is being able to renew his clothes with the frequency that he was used to when he was still receiving a good salary and sales commissions.

That day he went to put on his socks realizing that they already had too many holes. Not being able to buy new ones, he checked a suitcase where he had clothes stored. His face was filled with joy when he discovered some old socks from the time he was a high school student.

Thus he solved his problem thanks to the glories of his past.

Jonas, un hombre trabajador, luchó todos los días por su sustento y el de su familia, motivado por la crisis económica en su país a pesar de haber sido el mejor vendedor de ropa, ahora jubilado recibe de su pensión apenas lo suficiente para poder mantener a su familia, debiendo dedicarse a trabajos esporádicos como el de conductor de transporte de personal. Uno de los aspectos de su vida que había descuidado es poder renovar su ropa con la frecuencia a la que estaba acostumbrado cuando aún recibía un buen salario y comisiones por ventas.

Ese día fue a ponerse los calcetines dándose cuenta de que ya tenían demasiados agujeros. Al no poder comprar otros nuevos, revisó una maleta donde tenía ropa guardada. Su rostro se llenó de alegría cuando descubrió algunos calcetines viejos de la época en que era estudiante de secundaria.

Así resolvió su problema gracias a las glorias de su pasado.
