She hid her bruises! A 5 minute freewrite
Dear friends
That morning Maria, like every day, took her bicycle to go to school, it was about twenty minutes from her house, she always had to cross the field and cut the path along sidewalks, where old trees gave shade to the route.
In the afternoon the hour that normally returned had passed, so her mother began to worry, then the horn of the bicycle sounded and there she saw Maria who returned with her clothes a little dirty.
Upon entering the house, with shame, she went directly to take a shower, changed her clothes and then began to talk with her mother, she told her about the accident that she had suffered and about the old man who had helped her. Her mother sensed that she was hiding something else. She hid her bruises, so that her mother would not be alarmed.
Finally her mother asked her if she had anything else to say to him:
She, raising her skirt, showed him the bruises on her legs, so her mother hugged her knowing that she was now out of danger.

Ella escondió sus moretones

Esa mañana María, como todos los días, tomó su bicicleta para ir al colegio, estaba a unos veinte minutos de su casa, siempre tenía que cruzar el campo y cortar el camino por aceras, donde viejos árboles daban sombra a la ruta.

Por la tarde había pasado la hora que normalmente regresaba, entonces su mamá empezó a preocuparse, entonces sonó la bocina de la bicicleta y allí vio a María que regresaba con la ropa un poco sucia.
.
Al entrar a la casa, con vergüenza, fue directamente a ducharse, se cambió de ropa y luego comenzó a hablar con su madre, le contó sobre el accidente que había sufrido y sobre el anciano que la había ayudado. Su madre sintió que estaba escondiendo algo más. Escondió sus magulladuras para que su madre no se alarmara.

Finalmente su madre le preguntó si tenía algo más que decirle:

Ella, levantándose la falda, le mostró los moretones en las piernas, por lo que su madre la abrazó sabiendo que ahora estaba fuera de peligro.
