WHISPERING WAVES

My eyes are just like a digital camera
Catching every corner of the landscape
The breeze blowing from the tide
So calm and serene against the tempestuous sea

Soft dunes tumbling to kiss the briny water
Spreading its lacy foam like the edge of a petticoat
The wind whipped around me and filled my nostrils
A zephyr-like sea breeze rustles my tousled locks

Listening to the percussion of waves
Like a lullaby in the consciousness
My fingers wiggle in the water
In these lips of the ocean sings

The sand blurs out in a blissful trance
Vivid in the brilliant light
As each wave overlaps one another
Masking the shore with the transparent fading water

The ocean breeze whispers like a lover
Placing salty kisses on my cheek and tousling my long brown hair
Its majesty fills my mind with the most beautiful of dreams
The stalwarts of ocean-side life, present, and passing
