It's just unreal and seems so unfair to think of Uncle Bruni, gone ... seeing the funeral details makes it so real.
Here on Hive there is an initiative going on with a father fighting for his life with Covid-19, in Venezuela where the cost of the things he needs to survive is very high, and he also was the breadwinner of the family and so the whole family is in danger. It's not a charity, per se, but it's something we can do to save another family from going through what Uncle Bruni's family is going through. I'll drop the link here.

There just seems to be no end to it ... every reason why we had to hold (er, hodl) the line here on Hive for them when people were all talking about removing payouts because that was holding back the price ... it's BEEN life or death in Venezuela, just now more so...

It has popped up a bunch of times over the past two years, most recently about six months ago ... of course, it may be that you and I tag-teamed that whole "release the blacklist of people who NEED to earn on both Steem and Hive" thing at around that same time.
