Ahora todo es pesimismo
ayer vi tus ojos humedecidos
pensando en lo feliz que fuimos
pero nada es eterno, todo se ha ido.

Solo nos quedará recordar
volver lo nuestro de nuevo a soñar
pues un error ya acabo con todo
y no volveré a vivir contigo otro agosto.

Un amor desenfrenado fue lo nuestro
pero el tiempo es el mejor maestro
no valieron mis trasnochos ni gestos
ahora tú recuerdo es algo funesto.

Pero sigo buscando una explicación
para poder entender la situación
pero el amor no es preciso ni eterno,
recordar tu traición me pone enfermo.

Junto a ti aprendí a gozar la vida,
a saber que no hay victoria sin caída
que sin dolor no se puede sentir vivo
y el amor, como la droga, son adictivos.
