The Summer Rain : A Sports Freewrite
To Ramses, this is just another day, but mother nature was just ready to teach him lesson, first day at work. After being signed as a midfielder last summer, he was thrown to the bench. We all thought its ok. Luck will smile on this boy one day.
A new season is here and games are at there preliminary stages and the thought came to the coach to test this new kid on the block.
The signal for Ramses to get ready made him happy, more importantly was the fact that he has been looking forward to the day he is going to show his team mates the amazing skills locked in between his two legs.
The substitution came on and Ramses was in, then came the shocker, rain. Started more like a drizzle and in seconds fell heavily in a stadium without a cover.
The thought that life hasn't treat him well starts to develop in his mind, seeing everything from a negative view. But the last things done was relying on his childhood memories of playing in the summer rain.
His hope jerked up and started to play out the game as best as he could remember which came in at an advantage because of the way he mastered the situation so fast.
Two goals came in through Ramses that day, a day he will never forget.
