Mi destino / A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words [ES/EN]

Al despertar, a mis ojos les costó adaptarse a la oscuridad que me rodeaba.

La quietud y el silencio del lugar hacían que pudiese escuchar el sonido de mi propia respiración acelerarse.

Recordaba que estaba corriendo, huyendo de algo o alguien. Los recuerdos ahora se hacen borrosos en mi mente, aquella cosa que parecía de vida o muerte hace unos instantes parecía no tener importancia ya...

No sé cuánto tiempo llevo sentado aquí, el tiempo parece carecer de sentido ahora.

Mi cuerpo se siente liviano, como una pluma. Se tiene frágil, como si pudiese salir volando con el más mínimo soplo de viento.

Cuando me siento con suficientes fuerzas, giro sobre mi y detallo aquella tenue luz que había a mi espalda.

Era un pequeño farol. Al verlo, sentí la necesidad de acercarme a el, de tomarlo y dejar que me guiará

Y así hice, una vez que lo sostuve en mi mano, frente a mi se reveló un camino empedrado, el cuál, desde aquí, no parecía tener fin. O al menos, no sabía a dónde me llevaría.

Dude por un momento, y luego, frente a mis ojos pasaron recuerdos de aquellos últimos momentos que ya había olvidado.

Me di cuenta que este camino y este farol serían ahora mi destino. Vagaria con ellos hasta llegar al final del camino.

When I woke up, my eyes had a hard time adjusting to the darkness around me.

The stillness and silence of the place meant that I could hear the sound of my own breathing quicken.

I remembered that I was running, running from something or someone. Memories now become blurred in my mind, that thing that seemed life or death a few moments ago seemed to be of no importance anymore....

I don't know how long I've been sitting here, time seems meaningless now.

My body feels light, like a feather. It feels fragile, as if it could fly away with the slightest breath of wind.

When I feel strong enough, I turn around and detail that faint light at my back.

It was a small lantern. Seeing it, I felt the need to approach it, to take it and let it guide me.

And so I did, once I held it in my hand, in front of me a cobblestone path was revealed, which, from here, seemed to have no end. Or at least, I didn't know where it would lead me.

I hesitated for a moment, and then, in front of my eyes flashed memories of those last moments that I had already forgotten.

I realized that this road and this lantern would now be my destination. I would wander with them until I reached the end of the road.
