RE: How the Greens are LYING to the world about the bushfires

I'm puzzled as to why Northern Queensland or the Northern Territory are shown to be suffering from bushfires right now. It is summer in the southern hemisphere now. The northern half of Australia is entirely in the tropics. Tropical summer is WET. The south of the country has a Mediterranean climate, that is, it has hot and dry summers, which is why the fires normally occur this time of the year. Bushfires are a thing in wintertime in the north but because extreme heat does not occur at that time, they are not as severe as in summertime in the south.
