Кишинів. Тріумфальна арка – Chisinau. Triumphal Arch

У центрі молдавської столиці знаходиться споруда, побачивши яку відразу зрозуміло - ось це тріумфальна арка. Її ще називають аркою Перемоги на честь перемоги в російсько-турецькій війні (1828-1829). Пам'ятник був споруджений в 1840 році і під аркою передбачалося розмістити дзвін, відлитий з трофейних турецьких гармат вагою понад шість тон.

In the center of the Moldovan capital is a building, seeing which is immediately clear - this is a triumphal arch. It is also called the Arch of Victory in honor of the victory in the Russo-Turkish War (1828-1829). The monument was erected in 1840 and under the arch was supposed to place a bell cast from trophy Turkish guns weighing more than six tons.

We inspected this arch with interest and, of course, took a photo.

Спорудження являє собою квадрат і його висота - 13 метрів. Є два яруси, на верхньому розташовується годинник, який виходить на сторону площі. У 1973 році арка була реконструйована і в ній були викарбувані тексти пов'язані з Великою Вітчизняною війною, зокрема імена Героїв Радянського Союзу - уродженців Молдавії, як при совку називали Молдову.

The building is a square and its height is 13 meters. There are two tiers, on the top is a clock that faces the square. In 1973, the arch was reconstructed and engraved with texts related to the Great Patriotic War, including the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union - natives of Moldavia, as the scoop was called Moldova.

Арка знаходиться на площі Великих національних зборів поруч з чудовим і затишним сквером Кафедрального собору, фото якого я викладу окремим постом. До речі арка є як би воротами до храму, так як знаходиться на одній осі з ним і дзвіницею.

The arch is located on the square of the Great National Assembly next to the beautiful and cozy square of the Cathedral, a photo of which I will post in a separate post. By the way, the arch is like a gate to the temple, as it is on the same axis with it and the bell tower.
