This fake black dress, is part of the Penelope Underground collection, represent a Dark, Gothic, Punk, Rock, Cyber, Metal fashon clothes or whatever we want to call them.

Questo pseudo abito nero fa parte della collezione chiamata Penelope Underground, rappresenta un abbigliamento Dark, Gotico, Punk, Rock, Cyber, Metal o come lo vogliamo chiamare.

The general charatteristics of Gothic clothing, as it is called in Italy are: predominantly dark, mysterious and romantic clothes, fair complexon, black makeup including lips and the nails, in the same way for the women and for men, accessories, costume jewelery and antique style jewelry.

Le caratteristiche generali dell’abbigliamento gotico, come viene chiamatoin Italia, sono: abiti prevalentemente neri con poche eccezioni di altri colori, in ogni caso sempre scuri, misteriosi e romantici, carnagione pallida, trucco nero comprese le labbra e le unghie, in ugual modo per le donne e per gli uomini, accessori, bigiotteria e gioielli in stile antico.

A fashion that has taken hold in young people since the 8os, which I why it represents youth for me.
I built the dress starting from a metal hanger where i started weaving all the materials I usually use, recycled materials as cans, trimmings, fabrics, plastic, leather, chains, zippers, tulle, black stockins, black garter belt, etc. all alvays black.

I intertwined the materials leaving some pieces without weft to give more lightness and transparency
to the whole.

Ho costruito l’abito partendo da una gruccetta di metallo dove ho iniziato ad intrecciare tutti i materiai che uso di solito, materiali di riciclo come lattine, passamanerie, stoffe, plastica, pelle, catene, cerniere, tulle, calze da donna nere, reggicalze nere, etc, sempre di colore nero.

Ho intrecciato i materiali lasciando dei pezzi incompiuti per dare più leggerezza e trasparenza all’insieme.
