"Confessions (I Hate Flying)"

One of them is my highly irrational, but I am COMPLETELY terrified of flying. I hate the airport. I hate being around so many people. I'm (sadly) very uncomfortable around police officers (guilty conscience? I've never even been arrested, so this one is strange to me.) And, because of my overactive, neurotic imagination, I always feel like something horrible is going to happen on the plane...during take-off or in the air or on landing.... I hate flying... (The sigil I drew was supposed to help. I don't believe in magick, but I DO believe in psychology...and my mentality is deeply affected by magick. Isn't that bizarre?) So many confessions in just one drawing!

"The Social Critic"

He'll tell you EXACTLY how he feels about everything, whether you've asked for his opinion or not. (Maybe we should put a curse on him until he goes away... You've got to let him KNOW he's cursed, though, for the curse to work, so you'll need to talk to him at least one more time. Sorry!)

"Thunder"

This is how we do it! When making stuff, particularly with my granddaughter, we get all kinds of stuff involved. Recycled materials, found pieces, collage bits, and so on will all go into a given work, so the creative process (for us) starts in the physical world. Eventually, however, the image will get sucked (Tron style) into the COMPUTER WORLD where (through magick that I don't understand) the piece will be transformed into a specifically and distinctly DIGITAL work! Yo!

"Mutant Bat Demon"

[Liner pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color.] For Hive Blog Post Moth (November), I've been writing a new post every day of the month on my Hive blog. Because I'm angry at myself and feel I must be punished, I've decided to force myself to write a new haiku poem every day, as well. Actually, in my case, I write "Low-ku," which is a poem in the haiku format (5 then 7 then 5 syllables), but intentionally bad, nonsensical, or weird---low-brow, if you will. (Even if you won't! Ha!) This note to myself (which is no longer true...oh, wait, it's true again) will be true every morning when I wake up---until December 1st!

At least the bat demon thing looks pretty cool, right?

"Five Arms"

(Leave those poor, defenseless monsters alone, you jerk!) The bastard was eventually taken out by a critter he thought was going to be a pushover---a certain psychic bunny... We're all kinda glad that old Five Arms is gone, but you know...he supposedly had a son...
