"Collapse and Repair (HiveBloPoMo #17)" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

Jeeebus... Mentally torched. I only had a six hour shift today, but six hours of reading papers (and one of them was a spreadsheet with paragraph length cells) leads to brain fry. Mariah made cookies for dessert, and that helped the repair process, for sure! Still, I'm not sure how the "on the spot" haiku is going to be this time. It might be bad in a BAD way!

"The Unusual Suspects" by Richard F. Yates (HF)

[Digital drawing over photograph that I took at an actual mall... (Slight shudder... So. Many. People.)]

Do you ever just feel surrounded? (I am, if you didn't know, agoraphobic, so being in crowded spaces is awful---even before the pandemic, this was true. NOW, it's a hundred times worse...) But, luckily, I have an imagination, so I create monsters in my head to EAT the people who come too close to me! These are a few of my lucky critters! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

"Do You Want Fries with That?" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

[Digital drawing over a photo that I took of an abandoned and obviously haunted drive-thru intercom with digital embellishments, colors, and moshing. Animated with a free app on my phone.] With my PhD in Parapsychology, I often notice haunted spaces that others aren't properly trained to recognize. As soon as I saw this abandoned intercom, I could immediately sense that it was connected by some kind of psychokinetic quantum effluvia to an alternate universe in which this restaurant still exists. The "ghosts" that some might sense are actually more like echoes or psionic ripples. However, that doesn't mean this parallax intersection isn't dangerous. Whatever you do, if you encounter a space like this, don't order the special! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

That's all I managed to get tokenized today... BUT that's okay. (I'm telling myself it's okay.)

What I CAN'T forget, though, is today's LOW-KU! (Remember, for MY twist on the #HiveBloPoMo challenge, I'm writing a new haiku every day of the month. Here we go!)

#017

Brain fry brain fry brain
Millions of doctors say so
And I say BLAH, dude!

That's the way you DO IT! Okay? Sure. Good enough... (They can't all be winners... HA!)

I liked the idea of the tiles very much. it is very original. Although it is a digital drawing it would be nice to see real tiles done this way. Well done.

I've seen a number of artists who paint on tiles, but I don't think I've ever seen a wall or floor actually made from hand-painted artist tiles... Might be cool (but since it would be touch to SELL, most sane artists probably wouldn't do it. Luckily, I'm not so needlessly constrained! I might try it sometime!!!
