¡Hola a todos! Hoy vengo muy feliz y emocionada a mostrarles el que considero que ha sido mi mejor trabajo hasta ahora. Quiero que conozcan a Nebula, quien es la Diosa del Espacio y la Guardiana de las Estrellas. Está sola en su morada espacial, pero acompañada de unas hermosas nebulosas que ella ha creado.

Hello, everybody! Today I come very happy and excited to show you what I consider to be my best work so far. I want you to meet Nebula, who is the Goddess of Space and the Guardian of the Stars. She is alone in her space abode, but accompanied by some beautiful nebulae that she has created.

Proceso | Process

Comencé creando el fondo estrellado en Photoshop CS3, utlizando filtros de ruido y desenfoque Gaussiano.

I started by creating the starred background in Photoshop CS3, using noise filters and Gaussian blurring.

Una vez satisfecha con el resultado del fondo estrellado era hora de hacer las Nebulosas. Para esto utilicé el pincel con una opacidad del 8% en los colores Azul y Morado.

Once satisfied with the result of the starry background it was time to make the Nebulae. For this I used the brush with an opacity of 8% in the colors Blue and Purple.

Al estar listo el fondo, había llegado la hora de crear a Nebula. Para esto abrí el proyecto en GIMP 2.10.22, pues aunque hubiese podido continuar en Photoshop CS3, me sentía más cómoda con GIMP.

Para crear a Nebula utilicé una fotografía mía que me tomé para el Makeup Challenge en la semana de Diosas Griegas, y también la había utilizado anteriormente para una obra.

With the background ready, the time had come to create Nebula. For this I opened the project in GIMP 2.10.22, because although I could have continued in Photoshop CS3, I felt more comfortable with GIMP.

To create Nebula I used a photograph of myself that I took for the Makeup Challenge in Greek Goddesses week, and I had also used it previously for a work.

Luego de esto, me dediqué a animar la imagen. Creo que esto fue lo más difícil puesto a que era la primera vez que lo hacía, y busqué muchísimos tutoriales en YouTube para que me quedara bien. De hecho, cuando lo intenté tenía una nebulosa roja que aparecía y desaparecía pero luego no sé que hice mal y no la pude animar así. Hey, ¡Sigo aprendiendo! Tenganme paciencia jajajaja. En fin, así fue como quedó:

After this, I dedicated myself to animating the image. I think this was the hardest part because it was the first time I'd done it, and I looked up lots of tutorials on YouTube to make it look good. In fact, when I tried it I had a red nebula that would come and go but then I don't know what I did wrong and I couldn't animate it like that. Hey, I'm still learning! Bear with me hahaha. Anyway, that's how it was:
