(ENG/SPA) The Toguro Brothers Live Action Netflix Review
Los Hermanos Toguro son personajes del Live Action Yu Yu Hakusho estrenado en Netflix a finales del 2023, lo primero que llamo mi atención fue la visual de estos dos personajes, vi el live action y es grato para mi reseñar que estamos viviendo época de oro, los Live Action son otra forma de arte, una que quiere nacer y lo esta logrando con obras como esta que nos esta entregando Netflix las cuales estoy disfrutando como un niño en una tienda de dulces.
Algo que me favorece es que estoy viendo estos productos sin ver trailers entonces todo me sorprende en los momentos que debe hacerlo, veo la maldad de estos dos personajes en sus actores que le dan vida, veo presencia en Toguro El Menor, veo un personaje grotesco que es como debe ser Toguro El Mayor siendo este último mi favorito porque es un verdadero demonio o Yokai encarnado, sin misericordia y despiadado.
The Toguro Brothers are characters from the Live Action Yu Yu Hakusho released on Netflix in late 2023, the first thing that caught my attention was the visual of these two characters, I saw the live action and it is pleasing for me to review that we are living a golden age, the Live Action is another art form, one that wants to be born and is achieving it with works like this that Netflix is giving us which I am enjoying as a child in a candy store.
Something that favors me is that I'm watching these products without seeing trailers so everything surprises me at the moments it should, I see the evil of these two characters in their actors who give life, I see presence in Younger Toguro, I see a grotesque character that is as it should be Elder Toguro being the latter my favorite because it is a true demon or Yokai incarnate, without mercy and ruthless.
Para plasmar esta reseña de manera objetiva pueden ver en el gif la referencia en anime de estos dos personajes y me enfocare para la reseña del live action en su visual, efectos especiales o CGI y personalidad de los hermanos Toguro que pienso son los tres aspectos básicos que busca cualquier espectador, no necesariamente fans del anime porque a la final este producto va dirigido a todo el mundo.
- Precisión visual de los actores con la versión anime:
Cuando ocurre la presentación de estos personajes en el live action, yo veo como el anime se vuelve real de carne, hueso, accesorios y estética, solo vean a Toguro el menor con sus lentes, el peinado, el vestuario, en su etapa básica del personaje esta calcado del anime y no solo eso, el como habla impone presencia y Toguro el mayor es que de verdad me parece hasta una versión mejorada del anime, no es solo que se parezca, es que da grima verlo y queda bien porque justo eso debe transmitir el personaje.
In order to give an objective representation of this review you can see in the gif the anime reference of these two characters and I will focus for the live action review on its visuals, special effects or CGI and personality of the Toguro brothers that I think are the three basic aspects that any viewer is looking for, not necessarily anime fans because in the end this product is aimed at everyone.
- Visual accuracy of the actors with the anime version:
When the presentation of these characters in live action occurs, I see how the anime becomes real flesh, bone, accessories and aesthetics, just look at Toguro the younger with his glasses, hairstyle, wardrobe, in its basic stage of the character is traced from the anime and not only that, the way he speaks imposes presence and Toguro the elder is that it really seems to me even an improved version of the anime, it is not only that it looks like, it is that it gives you shudder to see it and it looks good because just that should convey the character.
- La Personalidad Gestual de Toguro El Mayor:
Este personaje fue de lejos el que mas me agrado, es un demonio, su maldad llega al espectador porque no solo busca herir físicamente al resto de personajes, el busca denigrar y hundir las esperanzas de sus rivales, esto sucede en el anime y también en el Live Action mientras sonríe con su boca asquerosa, el actor cumplió con su labor gestual para mostrar humillación cuando debe hacerlo.
El trabajo actoral de Kenichi Takito me dejo maravillado, veo la total asquerosidad de el villano Toguro El Mayor en él, es un personaje complicado porque requiere base en CGI para poder representarse, entonces verlo empequeñecido al actor con su cabello descuidado todo frágil pero a la vez el mas peligroso de todos, quede completamente contento con la precisión Live Action de este personaje, solo tengo elogios para su performance en la serie.
- The Gestural Personality of Elder Toguro:
This character was by far the one I liked the most, he is a demon, his evilness reaches the viewer because he not only seeks to physically hurt the rest of the characters, he seeks to denigrate and sink the hopes of his rivals, this happens in the anime and also in the Live Action while he smiles with his foul mouth, the actor fulfilled his gestural work to show humiliation when he must do it.
The acting work of Kenichi Takito left me amazed, I see the total nastiness of the villain Toguro El Mayor in him, it is a complicated character because it requires CGI base to be represented, then seeing him dwarfed the actor with his unkempt hair all fragile but at the same time the most dangerous of all, I was completely happy with the accuracy Live Action of this character, I have only praise for his performance in the series.
- Decisiones del Director sobre como ejecutar el CGI:
El actor Go Ayano con los lentes que le dan todo el poder visual a su personaje Toguro el Menor en su modo base no tengo quejas, veo totalmente al personaje de anime, esa personalidad soberbia con que señala, como camina, el sabe que es el peleador mas fuerte, todo lo anterior cumple PERO donde pienso si falla es cuando la historia avanza y el personaje pide CGI para poder representarlo.
Pienso que en su fase final la decisión del director de apegarse totalmente a la obra de anime no fue la mejor, aquí es donde el CGI, actor y anime se fracturan totalmente, si es verdad que Toguro el menor debe representar cierto rechazo visual para el espectador pero en este caso fue demasiado, no veo armonía del Live Action con el anime en la etapa final de este personaje y es fallo de la decisión del director para representarlo.
Como se puede haber mejorado, alejándose un poco de la versión de anime que para nada es la mejor, a veces creemos que lo que vemos en anime es lo mejor pero no necesariamente es así, el live action falla visualmente en este punto porque la obra de anime visualmente tampoco es la mejor, el personaje se vuelve grotesco de ver y pierde totalmente su presencia que le dan los lentes, esto ultimo es el accesorio que debió permanecer siempre porque de verdad si algo define a Toguro el Menor son los lentes.
Mas allá de esta crítica, la selección de casting, maquillaje, peinado, vestuario y lo mas importante accesorios como los lentes cumple totalmente, de resto la historia fluye con la una conclusión que me agrado y quiero ver mas de este live action en futuras temporadas, a mi me encanto y espero fans y publico en general le den una oportunidad a esta historia de la cual traeré mas personajes para reseñar.
Dedicado todos y cada uno de mis post y videos a mi perrita llamada princesa que la llamábamos chiquito que ya no está con nosotros pero desde el cielo verá que su existencia SI fue valiosa y lo más hermoso que existirá en mi corazón y alma.
- Director's decisions on how to execute the CGI:
The actor Go Ayano with the glasses that give all the visual power to his character Younger Toguro in his base mode I have no complaints, I totally see the anime character, that superb personality with which he points, how he walks, he knows he is the strongest fighter, all of the above complies BUT where I think if fails is when the story progresses and the character asks for CGI to be able to represent him.
I think that in its final phase the director's decision to stick totally to the anime work was not the best, this is where the CGI, actor and anime are totally fractured, if it is true that Toguro the minor should represent some visual rejection for the viewer but in this case it was too much, I do not see harmony of Live Action with the anime in the final stage of this character and it is a failure of the director's decision to represent him.
As it could have been improved, moving away a little from the anime version that is not the best at all, sometimes we believe that what we see in anime is the best but it is not necessarily so, the live action fails visually at this point because the anime work visually is not the best either, the character becomes grotesque to see and totally loses his presence that gives him the glasses, the latter is the accessory that should always remain because if something really defines Toguro the Lesser are the glasses.
Beyond this criticism, the casting selection, makeup, hairstyle, costumes and most importantly accessories such as glasses fully complies, otherwise the story flows with a conclusion that I liked and I want to see more of this live action in future seasons, I loved it and I hope fans and the general public will give a chance to this story of which I will bring more characters to review.

An Ok is a big step 😃, live action is evolving, that is undoubtedly and I have noticed its birth has been a strong birth, I have seen many blunders in previous decades that have kept me away from anime but what I have seen today has amazed me, I do not have so much knowledge with anime, I am more of a consumer of American movies and series, you could consider that I am part of that general public that sees for the first time these products related to anime and want to know those anime on which they are based thanks to the fact that I like the Live Action that I have seen in Netflix.
What I have seen in one piece, what I have seen in the first film of samurai x has left me in the clouds, I see potential and one that encourages me even to see the original products for example I want to see one piece anime, I see that the positive is greater, I'll keep that and continue to enjoy 😃/

Un Ok es un gran paso 😃, los live action van evolucionando, eso es indudable y vaya que he notado su nacimiento ha sido un fuerte parto, he visto muchos fallos garrafales en décadas anteriores que me han alejado del anime pero lo que he visto en la actualidad me ha maravillado, no tengo tanto conocimiento con el anime, soy mas consumidor de películas y series americanas, se pudiera considerar que soy parte de ese publico general que ve por primera vez estos productos relacionados con anime y quiere conocer esos animes en los que se basan gracias a que me gustan los Live Action que he visto en netflix
Lo que he visto en one piece, lo que he visto en el primer film de samurai x me ha dejado en las nubes, veo potencial y uno que me anima inclusive a ver los productos originales por ejemplo quiero ver one piece anime, veo que lo positivo es mayor, me quedo con eso y a seguir disfrutando 😃/
La primera impresión fue que vi a Matrix, no se porque me llevaron las imágenes a esa película. Disfruta mucho de los animes muchachón!😃

Anime, manga, live action, there will always be a failure, small, big, important, irrelevant, there will always be something but it depends on the perspective how serious that failure is haha
I watched few Live Action, I liked the ones I watched, I think it is a different way of showing an anime or manga, I think I already said this, I have deja vu but as I always forget what I say, you will remind me haha

Muchachonaaa hello 😃/, in every work there are details and I think the fans at least nowadays exaggerate when judging these live action, the latter has been a genre that has been hard to be born for decades, there were many flaws in the past that I think today have been corrected, I do not see the need to slaughter it because at least I see in them not only effort I see quality.

Muchachonaaa hola 😃/, en toda obra hay sus detalles y pienso los fanas al menos en la actualidad exageran al juzgar estos live action, esto último ha sido un genero que le cuesta nacer desde hace decadas, muchas fallas había en el pasado que pienso en la actualidad se han ido corrigiendo, no veo la necesidad de masacrarlo porque al menos yo veo en ellas no solo esfuerzo veo calidad
Bueno y mientras a disfrutar porque si me han gustado varias obras recientes y espero hablar pronto de one piece que me dejo alucinando 😀

I'm not a huge fan of live actions, but lately they're getting better. I haven't watched this one, though... I love Yu Yu Hakusho anime as I grew up watching it on TV as well... but I'm still in two minds whether to give this one a shot or not... :D

In my case I'm not so deep in the world of so many anime, I'm more into movies but I've seen several and this yuyu hakusho I got to see a part on cartoon network and I liked it because it was just the saga of toguro what they adapted, then maybe in my case that I'm not so attached to the anime live action I've enjoyed it a lot but it is that much more, I was like a child wanting more seasons haha
Let's say that I could belong to that general public that doesn't know much about anime and that these live action is giving us the opportunity to know these stories, I already saw one piece and I was on a pedestal haha, it's so much that I even have the desire to see ne piece so I'll keep that, the opportunity that these live action gives not to anime fans but to people like me who are entering this fascinating world and I'm pleasantly loving it because now I want to see more anime.... En mi caso no estoy tan adentrado en el mundo de tantos animes, soy mas de peliculas pero he visto varios y este de yuyu hakusho llegue a ver una parte en cartoon network y me agrado porque justo fue la saga de toguro lo que adaptaron, entonces puede que en mi caso que no estoy tan apegado al anime el live action lo he disfrutado mucho pero es que muuuuucho mas, quede como un niño queriendo mas temporadas jaja
Digamos que yo pudiera pertenecer a ese publico general que no conoce mucho de animes y que estos live action nos esta dando la oportunidad de conocer estas historias, ya vi one piece y quede en un pedestal jaja, es tanto que hasta tengo animos de ver ne piece entonces me quedo con eso, la oportunidad que dan estos live action no a los fans de animes si no a la gente que como yo estamos entrando en este fascinante mundo y que gratamente me esta encantando porque ahora quiero ver mas animes....
