Hoy vengo muy feliz a estrenarme en la comunidad The Anime Realm, cosa que me hace muy feliz pues si hay algo que me encante eso es el anime. Hace unos días encontré esta iniciativa propuesta por @lqch en la que nos invita a compartir nuestros 3 openings favoritos en el anime, y aunque honestamente me costó mucho decidir solo 3, definitivamente quiero unirme a este reto.

¡Así que comencemos!

Today I'm very happy to join The Anime Realm community, which makes me very happy because if there's something I love it's anime.

A few days ago I found this initiative proposed by @lqch in which he invites us to share our 3 favorite openings in anime, and although honestly I had a hard time deciding only 3, I definitely want to join this challenge.
So let's get started!

Tokyo Ghoul ha sido de mis series anime gores preferidas por excelencia, trata de un chico que se convierte en una extraña criatura carnivora llamada Ghoul. Pero lógicamente en este post no venimos a hablar de la serie (aunque luego le haré una reseña) sino de la música.

UNRAVEL es uno de los openings más famosos que hay y sin duda alguna mi favorito de todos. Este tema de J-Rock (Rock japonés) fue compuesto einterpretado para la serie por Kitajima Toru. La canción comienza en un tono muy suave pero agudo sin instrumento alguno, poco a poco se van agregando los instrumentos y a mitad de estrofa hay un solo de guitarra alucinante que va marcando el inicio de otro estilo en la canción. En cuanto a la animación, me gusta mucho como van pasando por los diferentes personajes pero se enfocan mucho en la comparación de ambas formas de Kaneki: Su forma humana y su forma Ghoul.

La letra de la canción me parece muy apropiada para la trama de la serie y en especial para describir los sentimientos de nuestro protagonista, quien no puede controlar bien lo que está sucediendo en su interior y siente que va muriendo poco a poco. Él no quiere hacerle daño a nadie, pero no puede controlarse.

Una pieza increíble de la cultura japonesa, 100% recomendada.

Tokyo Ghoul has been one of my favorite anime series par excellence, it is about a boy who becomes a strange carnivorous creature called Ghoul. But logically in this post we are not here to talk about the series (although I will review it later) but about the music.

UNRAVEL is one of the most famous openings out there and without a doubt my favorite of all. This J-Rock (Japanese Rock) theme was composed and performed for the series by Kitajima Toru. The song begins in a very soft but sharp tone without any instrument, little by little the instruments are added and in the middle of the verse there is an amazing guitar solo that marks the beginning of another style in the song. As for the animation, I really like how they go through the different characters but they focus a lot on the comparison of both forms of Kaneki: His human form and his Ghoul form.

I find the lyrics of the song very appropriate for the plot of the series and especially to describe the feelings of our protagonist, who can't quite control what's going on inside him and feels like he's dying little by little. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he can't control himself.

An incredible piece of Japanese culture, 100% recommended.

A pesar de que no he terminado de ver aún esta serie, tengo que contar su opening entre mis preferidos. De igual manera comienza de manera muy suave, con una dulce voz femenina relatando como sus recuerdos se fueron volando sin razón (muy adecuado para la historia) hasta que un solo de guitarra cambia nuevamente el ritmo.

ZOETROPE nos pinta una amnesia mental y emocional, una chica intentando construir un puente entre su mente y su corazón, entre el presente y el pasado. Esto es lo que me encanta: la doble perspectiva, la conexión con la historia del anime, la introspección personal que nos muestra esta pieza. Es la auténtica mirada de una chica con amnesia.

Esta canción es compuesta por Shinya Saito e interpretada por Nagi Yanagi.

Even though I haven't finished watching this series yet, I have to count its opening among my favorites. It starts off very softly, with a sweet female voice narrating how her memories flew away for no reason (very appropriate for the story) until a guitar solo changes the rhythm again.

ZOETROPE paints us a mental and emotional amnesia, a girl trying to build a bridge between her mind and her heart, between the present and the past. This is what I love: the double perspective, the connection with the anime story, the personal introspection that this piece shows us. It is the authentic look of a girl with amnesia.

Con este anime (que también tiene un videojuego) me inicié al anime gore. Si no saben la historia, es la de un grupo de chicos que por mala suerte terminan atrapados en un preescolar "algo particular" (Si quieren una reseña de este anime con gusto la hago, díganmelo en los comentarios).

El estilo del opening es muy distinto a los dos anteriores. HOSHIKUZU NO RING comienza con voces sublimes que a la vez suenan bastante espeluznantes, luego también nos deja ver una voz femenina muy dulce y de un momento a otro...El estilo cambia totalmente a uno super alegre y tierno. Creo que todo está compuesto así por el trasfondo de uno de los personajes principales: Sashiko, un alma torturada en la que en verdad había una niña muy dulce.

En cuanto a la animación, me encantó que metieran pequeños indicios de el origen de la historia y cositas que pueden ayudarte a intuir un poco el final.

With this anime (which also has a video game) I was introduced to gore anime. If you don't know the story, it's about a group of kids who by bad luck end up trapped in a "somewhat particular" preschool (If you want a review of this anime I'll be glad to do it, let me know in the comments).

The opening style is very different from the two previous ones. HOSHIKUZU NO RING starts with sublime voices that at the same time sound quite creepy, then it also lets us see a very sweet female voice and from one moment to another... The style changes completely to a super cheerful and tender one. I think it's all composed this way because of the background of one of the main characters: Sashiko, a tortured soul in which there was really a very sweet girl.

As for the animation, I loved that they put in little hints of the origin of the story and little things that can help you intuit a little of the ending.
