Hola a todos! Hoy traigo un post algo particular, ya que hablaré sobre animes de estilo gore, es decir, sangrientos que me gustaron. El género del terror bien logrado me gusta, aunque irónicamente yo sea una persona miedosa, sin embargo en el anime es diferente. Me gusta mucho un anime que me cause tensión a mirarlo.
Como ya saben, mi género favorito es el seinen, por lo que las tramas de misterio o thriller psicológico me encanta (y también me gusta cuando pasa en algunos shonen), y a veces me agrada que el recurso del gore sea bien logrado, es decir, que no maten o muestren sangre solo porque sí y ya. He visto gran variedad de animes con mucha sangre, como Mirai Nikki, Berserk, Blood-C, Parasyte, Baccano, School Days, Claymore, etc, unos me han gustado, y otros para nada, pero si nombro todos los que me gustaron no termino nunca.
Si están interesados en ver alguno de estos animes de terror, misterio, acción, thriller psicológico o cosas así, pueden leer tranquilamente ya que no contendrá spoiler, sino pequeños resúmenes de cada anime, además, con imágenes algo sencillas, así que tampoco se preocupen si son sensibles a las escenas gráficas. Recuerden que esto es subjetivo, si alguno de estos anime no son de tu agrado no hay problema. Sin más, comencemos!
Hello to all! Today I bring a post something particular, since I will talk about gore style animes, that is, bloody ones that I liked. I like the genre of horror well achieved, although ironically I am a fearful person, however in the anime is different. I really like an anime that causes me tension to look at it.
As you know, my favorite genre is seinen, so I love mystery plots or psychological thrillers (and I also like it when it happens in some shonen), and sometimes I like the resource of gore to be well executed, i mean, not to kill or show blood just for fun. I have seen a great variety of animes with a lot of blood, like Mirai Nikki, Berserk, Blood-C, Parasyte, Baccano, School Days, Claymore, etc, some of them I liked, and others not at all, but if I name all of them I never finish.
If you are interested in seeing any of these anime of terror, mystery, action, psychological thriller or things like that, you can read this peacefully because it will not contain spoiler, just small summaries of each anime, also, with somewhat simple images, so do not worry if you are sensitive to the graphic scenes. Remember that this is subjective, if any of these anime are not to your taste there is no problem. So, let's get started!
Elfen Lied
Este anime me gustó muchísimo. Trata de Lucy, un chica con poderes raros que sirven para manipular objetos. Logra de escapar de un recinto donde estaba recluida, asesinando a todos los que estaban ahí para poder ser libre. Luego de escapar, es encontrada por un chico llamado Kouta, pero tiene una personalidad más tranquila y adorable, que además es incapaz de comunicarse más allá de la palabra "Nyu", por lo cual Kouta decide llamarla así.
Este anime tiene muchos sucesos, como la infancia trágica de los protagonistas, como Lucy llegó a ser tan despiadada y cruel y como contrasta con su otra personalidad, Nyu. Las escenas de asesinatos y accidentes son extremadamente gráficas. La trama a pesar de todo es muy buena y nos hace adentrarnos en la mente de los personajes.
I really liked this anime. It's about Lucy, a girl with strange powers that serve to manipulate objects. She escapes from an institution where she was confined by, murdering all the people who were there in order to be free. After escaping, she is found by a boy named Kouta, but she has a calmer and more adorable personality, who is also unable to communicate, she only says the word "Nyu", so Kouta decides to call her that.
This anime has many events, such as the tragic childhood of the main characters, how Lucy became so ruthless and cruel and how it contrasts with her other personality, Nyu. The murder and accident scenes are extremely graphic. The plot is nevertheless very good and makes us enter the characters' minds.
Shigurui
El anime se basa en el período Edo de Japón, en un ambiente muy hostil y pobre. Se centra en dos personajes que se encuentran en un torneo, a uno le falta un brazo y el otro es ciego. Básicamente la historia se basa en la vida de ambos samurais y como llegaron a encontrarse en ese torneo.
Este anime es uno de los más gráficos que me ha tocado ver, con desmembramientos, órganos y sangre por todas partes, mostrándonos el realismo de las peleas en ese período. La verdad es que muchas opiniones se dividen en este anime, ya que si no te gusta la sangre verás todo esto como un sinsentido, pero si no te importa mucho, la trama dramática y psicológica te atrapará. Realmente es oscura en todo sentido ya que hasta la paleta de colores es turbia.
The anime is based on the Edo period in Japan, in a very hostile and poor atmosphere. It focuses on two characters who find themselves in a tournament, one is missing an arm and the other is blind. Basically the story is based on the life of both samurai and how they came to find each other in that tournament.
This anime is one of the most graphic I have seen, with dismemberments, organs and blood everywhere, showing us the realism of the fights in that period. The truth is that many opinions are divided in this anime, because if you don't like blood you will see all this as nonsense, but if you don't care much, the dramatic and psychological plot will catch you. It really is dark in every way as even the color palette is murky.
Gantz
Gantz es uno de mis animes favoritos. Se centra en Kei Kurono, que luego de rescatar a una persona de ser arrollado por un tren, aparentemente muere en el intento junto con un amigo. Sin embargo, despiertan en un lugar extraño, ya que según habían muerto. En ese lugar hay varias personas las cuales no responden todas las preguntas que tenían. Luego aparece una bola negra que habla y se llama Gantz, la cual les explica que están en donde están, deben sobrevivir y cumplir distintas misiones que pondrán su vida en un peligro de muerte.
Nos muestran el realismo del mundo, lo hipócrita que puede llegar a ser y también, lo injusta que puede llegar a ser la vida. Con escenas gráficas y sangrientas muy bien logradas que a diferencia de muchos animes gore, están logradas de una manera increíble que no llegan a incomodar incluso a los que no son muy fans de la sangre. Obvio, hay escenas muy gráficas, pero que la trama básicamente te hace querer más y saber como los personajes se irán desenvolviendo.
Gantz is one of my favorite anime. It focuses on Kei Kurono, who after rescuing a person from being run over by a train, apparently dies in the attempt along with a friend. But they wake up in a strange place, as they had died. In that place there are several people who do not answer all the questions they had. Then a talking black ball appears and is called Gantz, which explains to them that they are where they are, they must survive and fulfill different missions that will put their lives in danger.
It shows us the realism of the world, how hypocritical it can be and also how unfair life can be. With graphic and bloody scenes very well achieved that unlike many gore animes, are achieved in an incredible way that does not come to bother even those who are not very fans of blood. Obviously, there are very graphic scenes, but the plot basically makes you want more and know how the characters will unfold.
Shiki
Este anime lo vi muy joven y realmente había olvidado la trama, así que lo volví a ver y no me desagradó para nada. Se trata de un pueblo donde nuestro protagonista, Toshio Ozaki, siendo el único médico del pueblo, intenta descubrir la razón de las muertes y desapariciones extrañas que hay en el lugar. Creyendo inicialmente que es una epidemia, intenta investigar que sucede ya que su principal hipótesis es que son por picaduras, pero luego al ver que no es eso, sospecha de la existencia de seres vampíricos en la zona llamados "Shiki".
Este anime de misterio con una trama básica pero entretenida, nos mantiene al tanto de las investigaciones del protagonista. Las escenas gráficas son realmente rápidas ya que te muestran otra toma donde está ocurriendo otra cosa, olvidándonos de la sangre para seguir con la trama principal. Es un buen anime para mí.
I saw this anime very young and I had really forgotten the plot, so I saw it again and I didn't dislike it at all. It is about a village where our protagonist, Toshio Ozaki, being the only doctor in the village, tries to discover the reason for the strange deaths and disappearances in the place. Believing initially that it is an epidemic, he tries to investigate what is happening because his main hypothesis is that they are from insect bites, but later, when he sees that it is not that, he suspects the existence of vampire creatures in the area called "Shiki".
This mystery anime with a basic but entertaining plot keeps us up to date with the main character's investigations. The graphic scenes are really fast as they show you another shot where something else is happening, forgetting about the blood to continue with the main plot. It's a good anime for me.
Deadman Wonderland
Esta serie se centra en el buen Ganta Igarashi, un chico de 14 años que va a la escuela y tiene una vida aparentemente normal. Un día aparece un loco para matar a toda su clase, dejándolo vivo a él pero con una herida muy grave. Es acusado injustamente del asesinato de sus compañeros de clase y llevado a la cárcel Deadman Wonderland, sentenciado a muerte. Este lleva un collar que le inyecta veneno lo cual lo irá matando progresivamente pero puede atrasar el efecto comiendo un antídoto cada cierto tiempo. Este se hace amiga de una chica rara llamada Shino y luego de un tiempo descubre que puede controlar su sangre.
Este anime me gustó muchísimo y el como Ganta intenta buscar al verdadero asesino para vengarse es increíble. Ya que como hay peleas casi a muerte dentro de la prisión, el recurso del gore es bien logrado, haciéndonos ver desmembramientos, puñaladas, golpes brutales y mucha sangre evidentemente. Es un anime realmente entretenido, buen desarrollo en los personajes principales y secundarios y buen uso del gore.
This series focuses on the good Ganta Igarashi, a 14 year old boy who goes to school and has a apparently normal life. One day a maniac appears to kill his entire class, leaving him alive but with a very serious wound. He is unjustly accused of the murder of his classmates and taken to the Deadman Wonderland prison, sentenced to death. He wears a necklace that injects him with poison, which will progressively kill him but can delay the effect by eating an antidote every so often. He becomes friends with a strange girl named Shino and after a while discovers that he can control her blood.
I liked this anime very much and the way Ganta tries to find the real killer to get revenge is incredible. Since there are almost death fights inside the prison, the gore's appeal is well achieved, making us see dismemberments, stabbings, brutal blows and a lot of blood evidently. It's a really entertaining anime, good development in the main and secondary characters and good use of gore.
Hellsing
Está basado en una organización cuya función es proteger principalmente a la Reina y también a diferentes familias, es fundada por los Hellsing y liderada por cada descendiente de dicha familia. La líder actual es Integra Hellsing, y su misión es proteger a la gente de los vampiros y entes que hay en el lugar. Alucard, el cual es el personaje principal, es un viejo vampiro que trabaja para la organización, buscando al que causa que otros seres se conviertan en vampiros.
Este anime no es la trama habitual de vampiros, ya que el recurso del gore (el cual fue extremadamente censurado al llegar a Latinoamérica) es muy bien utilizado para hacernos notar a lo que se enfrenta la organización, convirtiendo a varios personajes en vampiros y asesinando a muchas personajes importantes. Recomiendo muchísimo este anime, además de que Alucard es uno de mis anti-héroes favoritos.
It is based on an organization whose function is to protect mainly the Queen and also different families, is founded by the Hellsing family and led by each descendant of them.The current leader is Integra Hellsing, and her mission is to protect the people from the vampires and entities that are there. Alucard, who is the main character, is an old vampire who works for the organization, looking for the one who causes other beings to become vampires.
This anime is not the usual vampire plot, since the resource of gore (which was extremely censored when it arrived to Latin America) is very well used to make us notice what the organization is facing, turning several characters into vampires and killing many important characters. I highly recommend this anime, besides the fact that Alucard is one of my favorite anti-heroes.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Se centra en el joven Keiichi Maebara, el cual se muda a Hinamizawa con su familia. Allí comienza a ir al colegio haciendo amigas nuevas, las cuales los invitan a sus actividades. A pesar de sentir que el ambiente es raro, no le hace mucho caso. Al llegar el festival “Watanagashi”, descubre que hay una maldición donde una persona muere y otra desaparece. A partir de ahí, el protagonista empieza a notar cosas más raras y siente que sus amigas no son de fiar. Keiichi omienza a investigar y descubrir secretos del pueblo.
Este anime es un rompecabezas constante donde el gore nunca es suficiente. Es increíble el contraste de lo adorables que parecen los personajes con las escenas tan violentas. Se pueden ver muchos asesinatos sangrientos y gráficos, haciendo notar los secretos más oscuros del pueblo y la supuesta maldición que aborda el festival con el Dios Oyashiro-sama. Un thriller psicológico que nos deja con ganas de saber qué rayos ocurre en el lugar y el por qué de esas muertes tan sangrientas.

This anime is a constant puzzle where gore is never enough. It is incredible the contrast of how adorable the characters seem with the violent scenes. Many bloody and graphic murders can be seen, pointing out the darkest secrets of the village and the supposed curse that the festival addresses with the God Oyashiro-sama. A psychological thriller that leaves us wanting to know what the hell is going on there and why these bloody deaths are happening.
Another
Este anime se centra en Koichi Sakakibara, el cual es trasladado a la escuela Yomiyama del Norte, el cual es hospitalizado a inicios de clase y visitado por compañeros. Luego de volver a clases nota actitudes y cosas raras. Cabe destacar que años atrás murió de manera muy extraña una estudiante llamada Misaki Yomiyama, que al ser muy querida quisieron actuar como si no hubiese pasado nada. En el presente Koichi se da cuenta de que la estudiante Mei Misaki es ignorada como si fuese un fantasma. Koichi decide investigar qué sucede, descubriendo misterios increíbles y aterradores.
Ocurren muchas muertes gráficas y misteriosas, de hecho hay una muy famosa con un paraguas. Aunque la trama de una maldición que mata gente es muy repetida en este tipo de anime (se puede notar a lo largo de esta lista), Another logra hacernos tener interés en lo que va a pasar. La muertes son gráficas y además, bastante inusuales. Toda la sangre derramada es tapada por una trama que parece un rompecabezas a lo largo que transcurre la serie.

The deaths are graphic and also quite unusual. All the blood spilled is covered by a plot that looks like a puzzle throughout the series.
