Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post inspirándome en uno anterior que hice de banda sonoras de videojuegos. Como he dicho varias veces en mi blog, uno de mis sueños es tocar en bandas sonoras para películas, series y videojuegos, eso incluye anime. Hay muchísimos soundtracks de anime que son excelentes que me costó escoger 5, pero los elegí en base a la cantidad de veces que las escucho.
Las bandas sonoras son importantes para darle una base a la historia y que no sea monótono. Las bandas sonoras de cualquier historia son importantes porque ayudan a expresar lo que quiere transmitir las escenas, por ejemplo, si la escena es triste la melodía transmitirá melancolía, si hay acción la melodía será rápida y fuerte, si hay felicidad la melodía será movida mezclada con templanza. Todas estas mezclas de sonidos, ritmos y armonías bien utilizadas ayudan a que la audiencia pueda captar de manera más sencilla lo que se quiere transmitir, además de empatizar con lo que está pasando, por eso es muy importante una banda sonora.
Hay que tomar en cuenta que son gustos personales, capaz se me escapen muchas bandas sonoras excelentes y capaz hable de ellas en un próximo post. Comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come to you with a post inspired by a previous one I did about videogame soundtracks. As I have said several times in my blog, one of my dreams is to play on soundtracks for movies, series and video games, that includes anime. There are so many great anime soundtracks that I had a hard time choosing 5, but I chose them based on the amount of times I listen to them.
Soundtracks are important to give a base to the story and not be monotonous. The soundtracks of any story are important because they help to express what the scenes want to transmit, for example, if the scene is sad the melody will transmit melancholy, if there is action the melody will be fast and strong, if there is happiness the melody will be moving mixed with temperance. All these mixtures of sounds, rhythms and harmonies used well help the audience to grasp more easily what you want to transmit, besides empathizing with what is happening, that is why a soundtrack is very important.
You have to take into account that these are personal tastes, I might miss many excellent soundtracks and I might talk about them in a future post. Let's go!
Naruto
Naruto es un anime considerado como legendario. Posee una trama que prácticamente atrapa a cualquiera sobre un niño rechazado es su aventura por volverse fuerte. Aunque no terminó como muchos esperaban no hay que quitar que la calidad audiovisual estuvo bien lograda. Esta calidad óptima incluye una banda sonora que personalmente me parece una obra de arte. Tiene una banda sonora que mezcla lo clásico con la música tradicional de japón. También poseen openings y endings maravillosos en su mayoría, que también se pueden tomar como parte de la banda sonora.
Muchos personajes, momentos y agrupaciones de la serie poseen sus propios temas que son muy pegajosos realmente. Las piezas tristes te transmiten el recuerdo de alguna escena, muerte o pasado que impactó mucho. Y canciones épicas como por ejemplo, la asociación de Akatsuki, que te presentan algo que al escucharla sabes que da miedo o que debes sentir peligro, cosa muy acertada. Entre Naruto clásico y Naruto Shippuden poseen bandas sonoras excelentes y bien compuestas.
Naruto is an anime that is considered legendary. It has a plot that practically traps anyone, about a rejected boy and his adventure to become strong. Although it did not end as many expected, it should not be taken away from the fact that the audiovisual quality was well achieved. This optimum quality includes a soundtrack that I personally think is a work of art. It has a soundtrack that mixes classical and traditional Japanese music. It also has wonderful openings and endings for the most part, which can also be taken as part of the soundtrack.
Many characters, moments and groupings in the series have their own themes that are very catchy indeed. The sad pieces convey you the memory of some scene, death or past that impacted a lot. And epic songs like for example, Akatsuki's association, which present you with something that when you listen to it you know it's scary or you must feel danger, which is very accurate. Between classic Naruto and Naruto Shippuden they have excellent and well composed soundtracks.
Shingeki es una obra de arte en muchos sentido, además de tener una labor excepcional en cuanto a la animación, la banda sonora es increíblemente impactante. Mezclar el rock, música clásica y corales es algo que logra que nos quedemos en tensión gran parte del anime. Creo que es el anime con la mejor calidad de openings y endings que he escuchado en mi vida que me erizan la piel cada vez que los escucho.
Este anime posee una historia oscura y que transmite un ambiente antiguo, el soundtrack nos traslada a un mundo caótico donde los titanes atacan a los civiles, teniendo escenas muy gráficas y luchas épicas. Realmente la banda sonora captura todo lo que el anime quiere transmitir, la lucha, la desgracia, la tristeza y la pérdida humana que abunda. Es increíble como la música te transmite tanto de lo que ves, te adentra a la historia de una lucha y pelea que parece interminable. Simplemente una banda sonora fascinante.
Shingeki is a masterpiece in many ways, besides having an exceptional work in terms of animation, the soundtrack is incredibly impressive. Mixing rock, classical and choral music is something that makes us stay in tension for most of the anime. I think it is the anime with the best quality of openings and endings I have ever heard in my life that make my skin crawl every time I listen to them.
This anime has a dark story that gives an ancient atmosphere, the soundtrack takes us to a chaotic world where the titans attack civilians, having very graphic scenes and epic fights. The soundtrack really captures everything the anime wants to convey, the struggle, the misfortune, the sadness and the human loss that abounds. It's amazing how the music conveys so much of what you see, it draws you into the story of a fight and struggle that seems endless. Simply a fascinating soundtrack.
Evangelion es uno de esos animes que puedes ver varias veces, no solo por lo bueno, sino porque a veces no entiendes el final. La travesía de Shinji por combatir a los ángeles, sus confusiones y presión por pilotar el EVA y ayudar a evitar el Tercer Impacto, ya que la llegada de los ángeles en su momento causaron un cataclismo increíblemente feroz llamado Segundo Impacto.
El soundtrack nos transmite todo lo que queremos, una historia algo confusa y entretenida que nos muestra la presión que tiene nuestro protagonista ante tal responsabilidad. Los personajes y eventos que ocurren en el anime tienen su propio tema. Las muertes, peleas, confusiones y la tensión que hay después de perder a varias persona es palpable en el soundtrack, realmente es un anime de calidad cuya banda sonora está a su nivel narrativo, además de poseer lo que considero yo, el mejor opening de la historia del anime.
Evangelion is one of those animes that you can watch several times, not only because it's good, but because sometimes you don't understand the ending. Shinji's journey to fight the angels, his confusions and pressure to pilot the Eva and help avoid the Third Impact, since the arrival of the angels at the time caused an incredibly fierce cataclysm called Second Impact.
The soundtrack conveys everything we want, a somewhat confusing and entertaining story that shows us the pressure that our protagonist has in the face of such responsibility. The characters and events that occur in the anime have their own theme. The deaths, fights, confusions and the tension that there is after losing several people is palpable in the soundtrack, it really is a quality anime whose soundtrack is at its narrative level, besides having what I consider the best opening of the history of anime.
Kimetsu no Yaiba es un anime que llegó pisando fuerte, un shonen con un tema algo cliché pero que logra capturarnos con la historia de Tanjiro y su hermana Nezuko en la lucha de exterminar demonios. Este shonen posee una banda sonora de una calidad increíble y tan solo va por la primera temporada, la cual nos trajo demasiadas emociones mezcladas las cuales son transmitidas mediante una calidad musical increíble.
Las peleas, los momentos cómicos, la tensión, los recuerdos, la felicidad y la nostalgia son sentimientos que la banda sonora nos emite, mezclando música clásica con mezcla tradicional de Japón, la cual es combinada con voces increíblemente angelicales que nos transmiten templanza luego de momentos duros en la trama. Es increíble como se puede cambiar de manera eficaz los sentimientos positivos y negativos mediante la banda sonora. Espero que no decaiga esta calidad para las próximas temporadas.
Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime that came on strong, a shonen with a somewhat cliché theme but that manages to capture us with the story of Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko in the fight to exterminate demons. This shonen has a soundtrack of an incredible quality and it is only in its first season, which brought us too many mixed emotions which are transmitted through an incredible musical quality.
The fights, the comic moments, the tension, the memories, the happiness and the nostalgia are feelings that the soundtrack emits, mixing classical music with traditional Japanese mix, which is combined with incredibly angelic voices that transmit temperance after hard moments in the plot. It's amazing how you can effectively change positive and negative feelings through the soundtrack. I hope this quality does not decline for the next seasons.
Obviamente Cowboy Bebop iba a estar a estar aquí siendo mi anime favorito de la vida, no sé cuantas veces lo he dicho pero se los vuelvo a decir. Es una historia fantásticas con toques realistas en cuanto a sentimientos, ya que Spike me parece un protagonista de primera talla, siendo lo más real posible. Un ambiente futurista con una trama orgánica que se va desenvolviendo poco a poco con la enemistad que hay entre Spike y Vicious y la relación que tiene el protagonista con los demás personajes.
Este soundtrack no es como los anteriormente mencionados, ya que está compuesto mayormente por jazz, blues y R&B y es algo que nunca pensé que funcionaría en una trama de este estilo. Realmente me parece increíble como se pueden palpar las aventuras de la tripulación mediante estos géneros musicales, es que en serio me encanta. Me parece interesante como la banda sonora nos adentra en el ambiente sin necesidad de voces (incluyendo el opening), lo que provoca toda una mezcla de emociones que al final dan una satisfacción increíble hasta el final del anime. Realmente una obra maestra.
Obviously Cowboy Bebop was going to be here being my favorite anime ever, I don't know how many times I've said it but I say it again. It's a fantastic story with realistic touches in terms of feelings, as Spike seems to me to be a first class protagonist, being as real as possible. A futuristic atmosphere with an organic plot that unfolds little by little with the enmity between Spike and Vicious and the relationship that the protagonist has with the other characters.
This soundtrack is not like the ones previously mentioned, as it is mostly composed of jazz, blues and R&B and it is something I never thought would work in a plot of this style. I really find it amazing how you can feel the crew's adventures through these musical genres, I really love it. I find it interesting how the soundtrack takes us into the atmosphere without the need for voices (including the opening), which causes a whole mix of emotions that ultimately give an incredible satisfaction until the end of the anime. Really a masterpiece.
