Mr. Satan's granddaughter | They call me Pan
Todos tenemos un apodo, algunos malos o que no son de nuestro agrado y otros que nos gustan.
At school, my friends started calling me "Pan", because of my super white skin color, black hair and dark eyes. At first I did not understand the reason for that nickname, which only reminded me of food and I imagined a nice Bread with coffee hehe.
En el colegio, mis amigos comenzaron a llamarme "Pan", debido a mi color de piel super blanco, cabello negro y ojos oscuros. Al principio no entendía la razón de ese apodo, el cual solo me recordaba a comida y me imaginaba un rico Pan con café jeje.
One day, my curiosity got the better of me and I asked them why they called me that. At that moment they told me about Dragon Ball Z and since most of my friends were men, they were fanatics and were surprised that I didn't know who the hell Dragon Ball was hahaha.
Un día, mi curiosidad pudo más y les pregunté porqué me llamaban así. En ese momento me hablaron de Dragón Ball Z y como la mayoría de mis amigos eran hombres, eran fanáticos y estaban sorprendidos de que yo no supiera, quien rayos era Dragón Ball jajaja.
The fact is, they caused so much curiosity in me, that I ended up watching Dragon Ball Z and then saw the others, while my mom scolded me for seeing it.
El hecho es, que ellos causaron tanta curiosidad en mi, que terminé viendo Dragón Ball Z y luego vi las otras, mientras mi mamá me regañaba por verla.
Who is bread? Let's start from the beginning...
¿Quién es Pan? Comencemos por el inicio...
Dragon Ball, is a manga (Japanese word for comics in general), ie a Japanese comic book series.
Dragón Ball, es un manga (palabra japonesa para designar las historietas en general), es decir, una serie de cómics japonesa.
Its plot describes the adventures of Gokū, a saiyajin warrior, whose aim is to protect the Earth from other beings who want to conquer it and exterminate humanity.
Su trama describe las aventuras de Gokū, un guerrero saiyajin, cuyo fin es proteger a la Tierra de otros seres que quieren conquistarla y exterminar a la humanidad.
Pan, is the daughter of Videl and Gohan, her grandparents being Goku and Mr. Satan.
Pan, es la hija de Videl y Gohan, siendo sus abuelos Goku y Mr. Satán.
She is very similar to her paternal grandmother, Chi-Chi. She is a girl with light skin and black eyes as well as her hair. As a baby she was very tender, smiling and playful.
Es muy parecida a su abuela paterna, Chi-Chi. Es una niña de piel clara y ojos negros al igual que su cabello. De bebé era muy tierna, risueña y juguetona.
At a few months old, Pan learned to fly and was very close to her paternal grandfather Goku.
A los pocos meses de nacida, Pan aprendió a volar y era muy unida a su abuelo paterno Goku.
Growing up, she is very independent and confident, as well as risky, although sometimes she used to do her tantrums.
Al crecer, se muestra muy independiente y confiada, además de arriesgada, aunque a veces solia hacer sus pataletas.
I must tell you that I liked this character and therefore, I loved that nickname, even when among my group of friends there was a boy who was called "he smells bread", but in his case it was for other reasons and not precisely because he smelled me.
Debo decirles que este personaje me gustó y por ende, me encantaba ese apodo, aún cuando entre mi grupo de amigos había un chico al cual le decían "huele pan", pero en su caso era por otros temas y no precisamente por que me anduviera oliendo.
En mi adolescencia, siempre fui muy confiada, segura de mí misma y sin temor a nada. Por ello me identifico también con "Pan".
Until my adulthood and not many years ago, when I was in college, even my school friends still call me PAN, when they see me on the street and those around me when they hear that nickname ask me why.
Hasta mi edad adulta y no hace muchos años, estando en la universidad, aun mis amigos del colegio siguen llamándome PAN, cuando me ven en la calle y los que me rodean al escuchar ese apodo me preguntan la razón.

Yo también le digo "Pam", así con M... pero vi que se escribe normal "Pan", fíjate que en mi dibujo lo escribí como siempre he creído que se escribe jeje. Y sí, me parezco mucho a ella, no solo físicamente, sino también en su personalidad cuando fui adolescente.

Curiosa anécdota, y que del nombre te llamara la atención de ver UNO DE LOS MEJORES ANIMES DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS! Jajaja me emocioné lo siento. Triste es que GT no es canon pero Pan existe ahora en Dragon Ball super.
Es entendible tu emoción, a mi me pasó mientras la dibujaba.
