As many of you know I am a mature(old) Guy who been playing Chess for many years. However my level of play has fallen over the years. I have been encourage and offered advise by many in the Chess Community. And now that I see some improvement in my play, I think it time to report back to the Community.

I think my biggest improvement have been my focus and attention. A quick look back at my last games will reveal that I am not giving away as many pieces and that's a big deal for me:). Also I am seeing the Queen/Bishop checkmate coming most of the time.

While I am having lots of success in the lichess open community, its not the same as the Hive chess tournaments, where the tournament average rating is much higher and most hive chess players are stronger than their rating display.

By the way I think better meals and sleep has contributed to more focus on my part. However some of my losses are still complete give always.
