HAPPY NEW WEEK GUYS
For today's portrait drawing, I did a sketch of Lupita Nyong'o portrait which I was fascinated by the angle. You know, when I first heard of her name, I used to think she's from my tribe; the Efik tribe in the southern part of Nigeria. Not until I did a research on her, then I realized she's from Kenya.
She grew up in Mexico City, where her dad was a lecturer and Kenyan politician. She grew up in affluence then.
She starred in a lot of black movies like the 12 years a slave, US and the popular afrofuturistic Black Panther and . She's also a human and animal right activist, and in 2014, she was named the most beautiful woman by the People. Indeed, she's an epitome of black beauty.
