I greet my dear reader friends! Today I want to bring you a piece of digital painting that I hope will make you feel a little bit of the fear and pain of this unfortunate witch.

Saludo mis queridos amigos lectores! El día de hoy quiero traer una pieza de pintura digital que espero les haga sentir un poco el miedo y el dolor de esta desafortunada bruja.

Witch-burning was a very common practice in the Middle Ages by the "holy inquisition" when they pointed out a woman (yes, it was almost always women) practicing sorcery.

La quema de bruja fue una práctica muy común en la edad media realizada por la “santa inquisición” al momento de señalar a una mujer (si, casi siempre fueron mujeres) practicando hechicería.

Based on this cruel and ruthless practice I wanted to make a painting that would show the agony suffered by the "guilty". As I am new to making scenarios and working with perspectives and other aspects of digital painting, I looked for references that would help guide me in making the painting as I had it in my mind. After a while I managed to make the sketch as I wanted it.

En función a esta práctica tan cruel y despiadada quise realizar un cuadro que mostrara la agonía que sufrían las “culpables”. Como soy nueva en cuanto a realizar escenarios y trabajar con perspectivas y otros aspectos de la pintura digital busque referencia que me ayudaran a guiarme al momento de hacer el cuadro tal y como lo tenía en mi mente. Luego de un rato logre hacer el boceto tal y como lo quería.

The process was quite late, I think it was because I don't have much experience with the tablet and it was hard for me to adapt to the variety of colors and shapes that can be made. In the end it took me about 9 hours (I ended up exhausted) to achieve what I wanted, but I was very satisfied. I will leave you the evolution of the painting from the sketch.

El proceso fue bastante tardado, creo que fue debido a que no poseo mucha experiencia con la tableta y me costó adaptarme a la variedad de colores y formas que se puede hacer. Al final tarde cerca de 9 horas (termine agotada) en lograr lo que quería, pero quede muy satisfecha. Te dejare la evolución de la pintura desde el boceto.
