This is very special to have rats as pets indeed 😉 but this weirdness is probably because we associate the name rat with some big and mean creature that would be hidden in the dark and ready to jump on our throat 😁
My daughter is constantly amazed at how smart they are. The sad part for her is that they live such short lives. I will show her your angel rat I love it.
How long do they live ? ...I mean so long idiots are not killing them..
I think 2 years is a pretty average life span. But I'm not a rat expert!
