Photo manipulation: Guardian Angel of Egypt. (ESP/ENG)
Greetings earthlings! (Hijijijijijiji!).
Many do not know that my old job was the restoration of photographs digitally, we are talking about 13 years ago approximately, when Corel Draw was the cry of fashion, by then I used Corel Draw X3 and I remember that I got to use it until X 11, until I switched to another program that began to be a Boom, I refused to change, because I was comfortable with Corel Draw, but so much I heard wonders of Photoshop made me curious and one day I tried it.
For the restoration of old photos (monochromatic or sepia) I used a version of the package that Corel Draw offered, it was Photopaint, very friendly in its first versions, since it did not demand many resources to the computer, so for me it was wonderful on my old computer with 512 Mb of Ram and a Peintium 4 processor with which I had a lot of fun playing the sagas of Age Of Empires and Age of Mithology online, but that's another story of my golden years.

Muchos no saben que mi trabajo antiguo era la restauración de fotografías de manera digital, hablamos de hace unos 13 años atrás aproximadamente, cuando Corel Draw era el grito de la moda, para ese entonces usaba Corel Draw X3 y recuerdo que llegué a usarlo hasta el X 11, hasta cambiarme a otro programa que comenzó a ser un ¡Boom!, me negué a cambiarme, porque me sentía cómoda con Corel Draw, pero de tanto que escuchaba maravillas de Photoshop me dio curiosidad y un día lo probé.
Para la restauración de fotos antiguas (monocromáticas o sepia) usaba una versión del paquete que ofrecía Corel Draw, era Photopaint, muy amigable en sus versiones primeras, ya que no exigía muchos recursos al computador, así para mi era maravilloso en mi vieja computadora de 512 Mb de Ram y un procesador Peintium 4 con el que me divertí muchísimo jugando las sagas de Age Of Empires y Age of Mithology online, pero esa es otra historia de mis años dorados.
As I was telling you, photo manipulation or as it is actually called, photo restoration, at that time, people hired me to bring back to life photographs of their loved ones, 80% of whom were deceased, the remaining percentage belonged to people who are fans like me of monochromatic photos, old photos and also photos of themselves in other times.
It was a work of weeks on a single photo, I had to work pixel by pixel, many photographs were missing parts, some were eaten by a mouse, others were eaten by humidity and others were just erased by time.
When the work was difficult, I had to ask for more photographs because I had to reproduce parts of the faces of people I have never met. In many occasions the magic of the montage, I could cleverly use another photo to not suffer so much, but it was an overwhelming work and of little pay for the amount of time I invested in it. I think that's why my eyesight got so damaged, I can't go back to that anymore. pixel by pixel? No, thank you very much.
Como les contaba, la foto manipulación o como se llama en realidad, restauración de fotografías, en ese entonces, las personas me contrataban para volver a la vida fotografías de sus seres queridos que en un 80% eran fallecidos, el otro porcentaje restante pertenecía a personas que son fanáticas como yo de las fotos monocromáticas, antiguas y también fotos de ellos mismos en otras épocas.
Era un trabajo de semanas en una sola foto, tenía que trabajar pixel por pixel, muchas fotografías les faltaban partes, pues algunas se las comió un ratón otras se las comió la humedad y otras tan solo, el tiempo las fue borrando.
Cuando el trabajo estaba difícil, tenía que pedir más fotografías pues tenía que reproducir partes del rostro de gente que jamás he conocido. En muchas ocasiones la magia del montaje, podía utilizar inteligentemente otra foto para no sufrir tanto, pero era un trabajo abrumador y de poca paga para la cantidad de tiempo que le invertía. Creo que por eso se me dañó tanto la vista, ya no puedo volver a eso. ¿Pixel por pixel? No, muchas gracias.

Now that the world is different, technology is amazing, I no longer work on those things, I just do it for fun and I love photo manipulation, I'm just starting to work with Medibang, so far I have only done basic things like montages, but manipulating them in this way as the one I present today, is my first time and I've been surprised with the result, I hope you like it.
Ahora que el mundo es otro, la tecnología es sorprendente, ya no trabajo en esas cosas, solo lo hago por diversión y me encanta mucho la foto manipulación, a penas comienzo a trabajarla con Medibang, hasta ahora solo he realizado cosas básicas como montajes, pero manipularlas de esta manera como la que te presento hoy, es mi primera vez y me he sorprendido con el resultado, espero sea de tu agrado.

I'm fascinated by Egyptian culture, then Asian culture, they seem kind of alien to me, so there are Egyptian features in my design.

I loved it more adding my way of painting my hair, I really enjoyed it.
